I understand where you are coming from but this is not a refund of money to its citizens. This is a percentage of dividend earnings from investments made by the state of Alaska for the citizens.
Please check your facts again, we do not get $3,200 annually. This year we received 2,069 for the PFD and a $1,200 energy supplement. Also FYI Alaska has the highest price of gas right now and has been for a while. I know people think we get 'free money' bla bla bla, but it really does cost more to live up here.
Zak and Wiki was a great game but I would not say it was advertised much. The only places I had seen it was some short review in a magazine and a few gaming sites. Also on release day the only place I could find it was Best Buy, no Walmart, Gamestop, etc...
I think there are very few people who use a cell phone camera as their 'photograph' camera. Myself I use it when I need a quick picture for a project or a nice turd picture to email to select family/friends.
It all depends on the story. The first part of the movie without speech really adds to the loneliness of the main character. I was hesitant at first as well, but was very impressed how after a few minutes I did not miss the dialog.
When you get a chance be sure to try out Zack and Wiki (http://www.zackandwiki.com/) and BoomBlox (http://www.ea.com/boomblox/). Don't let the kiddy look of Z&W throw ya off, after the first few levels the puzzles are very challenging. And BB is just one hell of a fun game to play.
I agree it does have to do with the technical prowess of the user, but again 90% of the people out there just push the power button and wiggle the mouse.
I don't think the parent poster was calling AMD mutt hardware. I think they were trying to convey the point that you hit on as well, Apple is able to create a much better solution by sticking with hardware they specifically know. I think it is kinda known that you can A. have the latest and greatest, with some issues that rise up or B. stick with the 'good enough for 90% out there' that is more stable.
As a tech and long time mac user I see both sides of the coin. It would be nice to run x,y,and z on my mac at home, but then let me tell you it is so nice to be able to come home and fire up the computer knowing it is just going to work, period.
I love Madlibs.
I believe games that require an update will come with the update on the game DVD as well. Mario Galaxy was this way.
Damn, who pissed in your Cheerios?
I have had the Homebrew channel loaded for a few months and have yet to have any problems getting online or being blocked by Nintendo.

End User LICKING Agreement?
What gives the customer the right to be an ass to the sales representative because his printer broke? What happened to common decency?

Bunch of trucks eh...
You sure Motorola has been on the Symbian bandwagon, I thought they made their own junk and Nokia was the Symbian heavyweight.

Grumpy Gus.

If you let a little crack in a damn be, that drip soon turns into a flood that you cannot control.

Silly me as a user wanting to be focused on, my bad.
