I second that. While Nintento doesn't have a monopoly on game creativity, they do a better job than the game makers for the PS2 and the Xbox.

Pikmin. Super Mario Sunshine. Windwaker. Mario Party. Double Dash. Bomberman Generations. No blood, no guts, but original and more fun than most titles for the PS2 or Xbox IMO (I realize others may disagree).

The two I will be picking up will be the PS3 and the Revolution.

No, seriously. I have no money. My name is Darl and I gambled everything I had, plus several million dollars of other folk's money, and I lost miserably. I'm roaming the country now, going from public terminal to public terminal, trying to stay clear of the pissed of investors and the hitmen they've hired. I couldn't even sell my soul for money if I tried.

Whether Linux kills Windows for the rest of the world is irrelevant to me personally, because in my little world, Linux has already killed Windows. I know some of you have personal business interests in the widespread dominance of Linux, so for your sake, I hope Linux wins out there too. If what I've seen on the desktop in the past couple of years is any indication, Linux has a bright future there. This guy's article didn't appear to have much credibility to me.

Rejuvinate the interest of masses? If it looked like a respectible PDA and had basic PDA functionality, I might pick it up myself. However, the utility of a handheld reaches zero when the only thing I can do with it is play games. When I was a kid, this might have been an OK thing for me to buy, but what self-respecting adult would carry this thing around? I think there's a market for handheld devices that can be used for both business and games (and I'm talking serious gaming, not Bejewled), since the GameBoy generation has grown up. But this doesn't appear to be it.
