So i just imagined that you don't like the proposal because it 'weakens' copyright?
And therefore it will somehow weaken the GPL?

  12. Re:Um on Expanding Fair Use To Reform Copyright Law · · Score: 0, Offtopic

    Lets see:
incidental infringement - oh well, it was an incident, you can remedy it by either revoking your stuff containing GPL, or just adhere to GPL. You won't pay 750$ per copies.
personal use - you are already allowed to do it
indexing - you can already do this

How this proposal will weaken GPL?

  13. Re:What Record? on Astronomers Announce 5-Planet System · · Score: 1

Besides some detection methods rely on the time a planet goes around its sun, so the further the planet from its sun, the longer the detection takes. Planets like Earth need 3 years of continuous watching, even if their size matches Jupiter.
So, the sentence would be: every year we detect planets farther and father from their sun, and we just reached the necessary time of finding planets in the habitable zone.

And people who don't buy CDs are less likely to use p2p too.
So, simply people who like music will get it, be it CD or P2P.

On the other hand, who said wikipedia must have an exhaustive list+synopsys of all webcomics, films, etc.

Maybe the problem is that it isn't clear what wikipedia must have.
