    They should also ensure that they won't release a game which is still well into beta testing.
    I never played 3d mmorpgs, and don't really like nwn2 either due to its weak combat system and the bad story.
    I stopped playing nwn2 not because of a new shiny mmog but because of nwn2's own 'qualities'.
    Its simply boring.

    Where is the great storytelling we got from BlackIsle (now Obsidian) in Planescape:Torment?

    This is to port linux apps to other platforms. It sure applies to 3D linux apps as well. Of course, it won't be useful to port Windows 3D FPS games to Linux, but that is not a topic here.

    I suppose they expect to be able to warp the language later as need arises. "Clone Products" doesn't say anything. Linux itself could be declared clone, as it implements (clones) an existing concept. (posix/unix/os).

    The drm free Office is probably already installed and called OpenOffice. If it isn't installed yet, i guess it is easy to get it for free, yet legally. Tell your buddy to use it too.

    1. it would tell which version is liked more, V2 or V3. 2. Yes, it prevents them of having a valid opinion about V3, but it isn't surprising from a M$ funded fud fad. 3. Yes, some non GPL projects got good reasons for not using GPL. But this wasn't the scope of the study. The study was about what people who would use GPL want in it (at least this was the alleged goal). 4. What is a benefit of such a study for M$? They could lie to themselves, but others won't necessarily buy this crap.

    Not solely D20, but CRPG definitely should contain the following: 1. dialogue 2. team based combat Otherwise they are just an (FPS) First Person Slasher game. From these FPS/RPG hybrids I would recommend Gothic 3. It has dialogue (though the hungarian translation sucks bigtime) and you can have one companion. WOW. Role playing at its top.

    Obsidian isn't a developer, just a licensee, and isn't good anymore.
