Right. How can a witness say she was raped, clearly enough that the defendant confessed and the officer recalls her saying she was never forced in that interview. Don't say his memory was fuzzy or anything because there is no way a fuzzy memory of maybe not recalling a woman saying she was raped should exclude her testimony. We live in a society where people either as incompetent or as biased for whatever reason can be cops. Their testimony is considered more credible than any physical evidence or the testimony of witnesses and victims.

Verizon is more horrible than that. Recently I received a 3000 dollar charge. The first time I called up they said they'd remove it. They didn't. Every other time I've called I've got a completely different explanation for what that charge is fore, each of them rediculous. I've been amazed at the things they say. For example, that they have nothing to do with that charge on my bill and anyone can charge anyone money through verizon and they have nothing to do with it(I just picked one of many examples). I'm glad I might finally get something for my crippled v710 but the evil of the company is not isolated to this. For example, my elderly neighbors phone line was cut off by verizon while installing a line in another house. It took them a month to restore service and they refuse to reduce the bill for the affected months. My friend tells me she put down a deposit for DSL. They never came to install and now claim DSL is unavailable to her. And they are keeping the deposit. I have taken out a loan for 3000 dollars to pay bullshit charges because a lawyer was going to cost me more. I hope enough people file complaints with the FTC to have someone murdered

Seeing that the the other specs are buzzwords really, I doubt it has 1TB of ram. It's probably some trade marked word they made up. For example, it says 6.8 ghz atomchip processor. But then you find out this is there word for 4x1.7ghz pentium ms. They use the word "or" to mean "in other words" here. Of course must of us know this really isn't equivilent to having one 6.8 ghz chip, though it should be fast. Also, it appears that there is no quantum technology in the ram. That's just a trademarked term for there implementation of flash memory.

what people don't seem to realize is that napster to go is compatible with 3 players. They each hold 5 gb. So you can fill a 5gb player for $15/month. It seems rather unfair to compare this price to filling a 40gb ipod for good.

But Ramanujan, who claimed a godess made him smart, also had amazing computational abilities that one would have classified him as a savant.

There were real geniuses who also had this type of ability (like that Indian guy who derived millenia of western mathematics and more on his own who could also do the things this savant could do. Was his name Ramujan? Something like that). I think the point is that if we could use our minds the same way he does without the handicap he has we'd be pretty much on another level

If you use napster you are permanantly keeping something you were only supposed to be renting. you could pay 15 dollars and get and get 5 gigs of music. Actually it is much more probable that the line will head away from the x axis. One can calculate the number of times you should expect the axis to be crossed. Unfortunately I cannot remember why this is true or find my notes explaining it but I am quite sure it shouldn't be amazing if you see jumps like that.

Also napsters adds are quite misleading. You can only use a 5g player yet they compare their 5g of music to ipods 40g in their ads. Also .99 *10,000 songs is 9,900 not 10,000 dollars. So you get a choice of 3 5g players and they are comparing to 40g of music on the ipod. And once you stop, as you noted, you have nothing.
