I REALLY doubt Microsoft is scared of Linux being put on peoples Xboxs. Infact, what they are worried about most, more than likely, is playing burned games. That right there is what would get into Microsofts pocket, not Linux.
Hell, if you put Linux on the 360, all youve done is bought a system, but if you mod the system so you can play games, then you will have cost them thousands of dollars.

Windows works for what I need it, DVDs, Games, Music, ANYTHING I want to do.

Just because you use Windows does not mean that you beleive that everything should be DRMed or closed.
If you write something open souce, you know what, thats good enough for me.
This is a good thing. It always is good to get someone to try and break your software, that way you know what you can do to fix it.
Lets be honest here, Microsoft is number 1 in sales, so I hope they can make a better product, for the saftey of everyones computer.

Actually, it comes with another battery that they claims is "X2" so you dont have to worry as much.
