  1. If any of you had bothered to click the link... on Pre-Installed Linux Tops Dell Customer Requests · · Score: 1

Yet during that entire post you never gave one reason why Sun makes quality computers. In fact you just convinced me that all Sun computer fanboys are assholes. Good Job!

  3. Sun's Lsat Chance on Sun Announces Its First Laptop · · Score: 0

From the article: "Sun is also loading its newest workstations with free software that it values at thousands of dollars, such as Java Studio Enterprise 7 and Sun Java Studio Creator. The goal is to coax developers to create applications that run on Sun machines, the company said." Sun has dug themselves a pretty deep hole here and only now are they trying to get out of it. There giving away thousand dollar software free on their computers which might convince scientists and business men to buy one but for the normal consumer there is no reason to go and buy a Sun computer. Their designs are ugly and clunky on a desktop computer, I can't begin to imagine how ugly and clunky their laptop computers will be. I wouldn't be suprised to see a slashdot story announcing Sun going out of business within a few months.

  4. What about the elderly? on Who Cares if Analog TV Goes Dark? · · Score: 1

That 12% of TV owners is probably all old people who have no need to go and buy a digital capable TV. They've been watching the same TV since 1980 and if they shut off analog TVs then that 12% (well the old people at least) would probably not buy a new TV set and cancel their cable. That's 12% of the Cable market not watching TV anymore. It's like shooting yourself in the foot until it's not their anymore.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I didn't even know 4.9 was out until this morning when I was reading TWiT.tv (This Week in Tech). Still, Windows users are lucky that apple brought the Ipod and Itunes over to windows. Whether or not they put in a aut-updater is pretty trivial.

It's a good idea but will anyone play this game and then start washing their hands more? Maybe a better question is will anyone play this game besides my sister? People who send the time to go on the internet and play games don't want to play hand-washing simulation, trust me I've played the game (it sucks).

Well frist off Blizzard has been having server problems and the fact that 70 people are walking in the same exact place, dosn't help. They're probably trying to fix the problem and is just ignoring the stupid gnome "marches". They know that no one will leave for a differnt game because all the other MMORPGs suck ass.

I play WoW and have a level 17 Gnome Rouge. I have played as a Warrior before and it was okay but I mean it's a warrior, they bash stuff and kill things! There are so many great classes in WoW, so just stop whining and play as something else (like a rouge or a hunter). I'm a fan of the 1st Amendment and all but c'mon guys it's a game.

Jennings lost because he wasn't good at a few categorys. He didn't get any of the Seinfeld ctaegory and was lackluster on a few others. I personally love when companys get into "wars" like this. They all try to out-do the other company and their products end up better than they would've been otherwise. So if Microsoft or AOL came out with a better browser, than I'm downloading it. I'm not going to get angry over the fact that they're ripping Mozilla off. As long as I get a good product I'm happy.
