    In the 2 countrys I've lived in (Canada and Guatemala) pretty much everyone uses MSN or Yahoo, yet almost all the Americans I've met use AIM. Im wondering if this is part of aol being "the interweb" in the states, or cause people in other countrys dont like aol cause it has america in its name...

    Also, in response to the first post, AIM and MSN both have the ability to go invisible and MSN has the ability to direct file transfer.

    I think the main strengths that the two biggest networks (aol/msn) have is that AOL is the internet to a ton of people, and MSN comes bundled with windows.

    Just out of curiousity, what would happen if something big were to happen in the area of the floating power plant (something like Katrina, etc.)?
    Hurricanes are tropical/semi-tropical storms, this plant is being built in the white sea. think about it.

    Weve had this in Saskatchewan for a couple of years now, but over dsl, I also think they have it in Manitoba. I dont see why when something happen for the first time in the states, it makes it somehow newer than it happening somewhere else years bofore.

    like confusing PCs with "PCs that run Windows"

    But PCs as an arcitecture do suck, and are power hungry slow beasts compared to PPC or MIPS. On the hardware macs are definantly far superior to any pc design there is.

    Where does one get a G5 pegasos from? unless you mean its only ported to G5 macintoshes, it does run on G4 pegasos boards though. From what Ive heard there are still some problems with linux on the mini mac anyways.
