I used to work at a foundry that had a Rockwell SCADA system. It operated on a completely physically separate network from the normal, internet-facing corporate network. If somebody needed access to both the SCADA system and their email, they had two computers on their desk.
For something not as critical as say, a utility, I think this was a bit of overkill (at least they could have used VLANs), but why is this not a semi-common practice? Why do these controls need to be on a network with a route to the internet?
But I've watched a few leaked workprints before. (Never of so high profile a movie.) And, well, allm y attention was drawn to the incomplete effects. Totally ruined the experience for me. So, I plan on keeping the Wolverine workprint and watching it after I see the movie theatrically.
AhSay's free version of their Offsite Backup Server (http://www.ahsay.com/en/freeedition/ahsay_free_edition_index.html) does versioning and, well, everything you're really asking for. I use this at work with about 20 clients, and it's rock solid.
Art direction was done by Akira Toriyama, but Hironobu Sakaguchi (the guy who created Final Fantasy) created the game, and was development supervisor. Oh, and Nobuo Uematsu composed the music (as he did for FF1-9)
That's what strikes me. Competent programs doing the same thing the Windows version does, for the same price...and then they release it bundled only with an expensive, broken piece of software. tivodecode development won't stop because of this, because it's ridiculous.
This timing, of course, is not coincidental. The open-source hack tivodecode has made.tivo file decoding possible on non-Windows platforms. Tons of people are using tools like the TivoDecode Manager to replace the functionality not available from TiVo officially...until now.
Why does having used Windows before make it so you can't refuse the EULA on another machine? Different machine, different use, possible disagreement with EULA based on what is planned to be done on that computer.
You agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA by installing, copying, or otherwise using the software. If you do not agree, do not install, copy, or use the software; you may return it to your place of purchase for a full refund
If he did not, in fact, agree to be bound by the terms of the EULA, he had every right to ask for a refund.
Minor point - with cameras, there is only fact. The fact is that this lady was killed by this man and it was caught on camera. The truth may be something that justifies that, though it most likely is not. But you see the difference between fact and truth.
So you can now hit your bandwidth cap faster than ever? At a certain point, latency is the biggest problem to contend with, not bandwidth.

You know, I concur that UT3 was not nearly as fun as UT or UT2004, but I've never been able to put my finger on WHY it is inferior.
I don't know about the HD-PVR, but as for QAM using the HDHR, I can say that Windows 7 handles it perfectly.
Cool is, perhaps, the wrong word.
Please cite any relevant passages of Montana state or Federal law, kthx.
Of course it is.
That's exactly why I downloaded it.

Due to security concerns (just like the OP is expressing,) you can't get a Wildcard EV certificate.

MicroSD cards are small enough to easily swallow.
I used to install VSATs, and we routinely installed several VoIP lines on them. Yeah, ping is slow, but that's what ACK spoofing is for.
It's sad because it's costing the city government (and therefore the taxpayers) as a whole, and not just the stupid officers involved.
Did you not see Episode III? Anakin did some pretty fancy flying in the BAttle of Courscant.

And I don't dispute that. I said nothing of surround sound systems.
Very few televisions have digital audio in, outside of HDMI. If one must hook up with component, one will probably also be using R/L analogue audio.

From the Windows XP Home EULA:

.....what?
Naw, all of those Iraquistanis look alike.

Space is boring. However, all the little goodies in it (stars, planets, black holes, dark matter, etc.) are exciting.
