I think you are wrong there. I glady welcome a more secure IE, so i dont have to deal with a memory leaking randomly crashing(disappearing with no error) firefox client anymore.
I have Comcast cable (i know i know) but in my area (Nashville, TN) internet and cable service seems to be fairly flawless. Everything HD comes through great. While i have good luck with it , I wont question the technology still has flaws.
Its more likely its your Cable provider or a weak signal or sattelite reception issues. I have a 57" HD set and I too am connected via DVI. I have perfect clarity and sync with no artifacting problems etc. Any Station that has an HD broadcast I will watch in the HD and not the standard. I think your problem has nothing to do with HD itself. Oh and 1080i xbox 360, amazing.
Because most of us who have HDTV only have one. Sure some people have 2. B ut id rather stream my HD content from my MCE tv through my xbox 360 hooked up to my big screen HDTV with my surround sound etc.
I also have NO PROBLEMS with my Xbox360. By the way. It has come to light in many forums that the issue isnt with the Xbox360 Console itself, but the powersupply having shorts and other issues. Once people have been figuring this out, they have been able to stop the problems from happening until they can acquire a replacement from MS. Which by the way, Microsoft is overnighting Boxes to people with paid overnight shipping back to send the defective PSUs back. Then they are Overnighting back a new PSU. how is that for customer service.

ANd you can game? and watch dvds? and have "perfect" 1080i etc output to your TV? I ran MythTV on my XPC HTPC and while it was great and more than adequate, it is nothing compared to the streaming quality the xbox360 is giving. at least what ive had time to check out so far.
You are dumb. Plain and simple. I want a PS3 more than i want a 360, but by NO means are retailers going to drop it. Its going to be more successful than the xbox(which was successful in its own right). You are just a MS hater trying to start shit
I think you are terribly mistaken on almost every point. I did have a HTPC hooked up to my HDTV/entertainment center. I sold it in lieu of the Microsoft Media Center Edition Extender available on the xbox360. They also convinced me to purchase Media center edition for my main Gaming rig. Which i happily will so i can stream all the multimedia content through it and tv etc etc no problems! Sure most ppl here will call me an idiot for buying into the MS web of deceit, but I promise that my setup will work 100% better than anyone elses HTPC setup. Why? Because its the intended purpose. I know people will beg to differ etc etc, and im sure there are valid points. But ( i am a big linux user) I was convinced (rightfully so) to use the XB360 for its "center" of the entertainment room purposes. I think 1 year from now you will look back at your post and realize it is flawed on every level. I know you hate microsoft, but you cant deny how successful they will be.

Thats all well and good in theory, but id gather the US wouldnt be the ones ending up suffering from that. I can safely say i could care less what ppl in other countries see for my website if at all, or that any sites i go to are abroad. ( there are ones but in general very few).
It wouldnt cause much more than a shrug from your everyday user. Plus you should realize that Japan/korea/taiwan/australia would all still be behind the US in this(which they have stated b4 this agreement was reached). Main problem is, all of the EU still doesnt have enough influence to scare us into anything.
And of course you played the game? PGR is a very respectable series. While a perfect 10 is slight a surprise, any 9+ wouldnt be at all. From everything i have previewed for this game, i expect it to be the best launch title. Why not give it a 10 if the reviewer thinks it was that good? You are basically saying giving any game a 10 ever is impossible or shouldnt be done. Why not?

Logged about 7-8 hours on my 360 so far, playing PGR3, NFS, nba2k6 and i havent had any issues as of yet. (knock on wood)
