Also Ewoks were not in your face the whole time, they did thier thing in hte forest, and that was it, but Jar Jar was like a fucking tick attached to your eye.

Also at least Ewoks made sense. They were spear pointing primitives, the gun guns were stupid, they lived in a super high tech underwater city, but they were supposedly the underclass, they fought with these energy ball things, but they thew them from primitive catapults.

And best of all, Ewoks knew how to shut their mouths.

He would be remembered forever as one of the most loved film makers ever, instead of being that asshole who ruined every decent film he ever made then made a billion shit sequels.

Then we would have to endure the Indy cycle as well as hte Bond cycle.

The bond cycle for those who don't know, is where they start of with a good film, then then add more gadgets and stupid stunts to outdo the last one, this continues until you get a piece of shit like Moonraker or Die Another Day. Then they decide they have to go back to basics and restart the Bond cycle (usually with a new actor) with something like Goldeneye, or Casino Royale, where it's actually based on the character of Bond rather than stupid gadget cars.

Anyway, it seems in this world of undying franchises there is developing the same cycle for all of them, it just remains to see what happens to hte new batman films, will some idiot decide they need to be more family friendly, thus requiring it to get restarted again? Will they redoot Indie? who knows, but maybe we should kill george lucas now...

I can't find any situation where people being able to read would suddenly throw their country into chaos. How does literacy cause bad things to happen?

And I just read that article and it's about the government paying these men to attack rebelious citizens, not a power grab, it's another good old case of government repression there's no outside interference, it's the government of the country doing it, you think that wouldn't happen without guns?
