Pixel for pixel, it's the same size, and most of it is the same. The only difference is that they reduced the amount of colors, and the image then looks worse. But it is the same. But you have to remember, they are from Microsoft. Copying is what they are good at, and trained to do.
Productivity on the job is up by 100%! Workers everywhere are actually getting things done at work. Emo kids everywhere are stepping out into the world and seeing sun light for the first time.
Yes, Windows DID beat Mac OS at one point. Note he did not say Mac OS X. They STILL have the market share.
IE won the first browser war, and they COULD do it again, althought I hope not.
Who said anything about paying for WMP? It's more recognition for them. I had a friend with a MacBook Pro ask me how to get WMP on it.
Project is all people know when it comes to that type of software. The only other one that I know on Windows that comes close is OpenWorkbench.
It doesn't matter what MS-SQL runs on, because they are all running Windows.
Every day, I use Linux and love it more and more, but everyone around me keeps getting more and more MS stuff. My customers and my friends are all getting PocketPC phones, everyone is going to Exchange server, my friend (who's business I am buying out) is more of a MS fanboy than I ever realized. A large website that is being contracted to me needs to be done in ASP. It's becoming increasingly harder to keep to Linux because of companies going all Windows, like Intuit. 2007 will probably FORCE me to change several of my customers Linux servers to Windows ones. I'd love to take them out of QB, but since one of them is an accounting firm, I can't do that.
Fact is, MS is still a competitor, and everything the parent mentioned has happened.
But that is the problem. Kids DO NOT turn them off. They take them to school and put them in vibrate mode or even forget to change the mode or turn them off. Then the phone rings in class, and disrupts the class. It would be much better if they just left them in their locker or their car. And if you are in elementary or middle school, then what in the hell are you doing with a cell phone anyway.
I don't understand how eBay can say a type of payment can not accepted. Doesn't it depend on the person selling it what methods of payment they use? What if eBay didn't like Mastercard, could they say that Mastercards can not be accepted by anyone using eBay? Does this mean that someone like me who REFUSES to use Paypal can never buy anything on eBay, because I must go through their payment system?
Now I didn't RTA, but this makes no sense. How are they going to know to shut down? Will it come through Windows Update? What if the computer isn't on the Internet? You have to install WGA, then uninstall for it to disable?
I would just stop selling in Europe. Pull it all out. There would be quite a few people who wouldn't know what to do. They'd change their tune real quick.
And just so you know, I am in no way a Microsoft supporter, I am all for Linux. This could help Linux.
Actually, I have my girlfriend's (yes, girlfriend) old iMac which she just replace with a new MacBook which will be getting Ubuntu. However, I am on vacation, and it is rather hard to install Ubuntu on it from here. But when I get back...

Wow... that was uncalled for. I had assumed by partner, he meant business partner. I will be taking on a business partner soon, and I would put him in a "family" plan if I had that type of service, because inter-calling would free in most cases. Even if it isn't his "business" partner, so what? Why do you have to use all the language? And of course, you assume the first person is a guy.
Wow, I didn't realize that we could get temperature readings from all over the world 2000 years ago, like we do today. I didn't even think we had it 400 years ago. I mean, we are only talking like fractions of a degree every once and a while, are we not? Were they that accurate?
I pay $190 a month for 5Mbs/712Kbs service and 4 static IPs. I think its outrageous how Brighthouse can charge this for their commercial customers. And I'm not even in a commercial building, so it's less that what it is for most people. But, it is cheaper than a couple T1's.
Most email programs automatically create links. So the email could still say that, but would rather just click on the link that is available for them via Outlook Express. It is just like your message. It says to TYPE the URL, but it's a link.
Actually, my Yahoo account has the least amount of spam. It is my backup incase all hell breaks loose. I get stuff in the spam folder, but usually only 1 or 2 a day. In the actual Inbox, I'd say about 1 a week if even that. From what I can tell, Yahoo has some pretty good spam blocking. Now if only they'd let me use the new Yahoo mail... but I guess since I am not using IE or Windows for that matter, I don't get to try it.
I'd be pretty damn pissed if I walked into your place of business and my PDA was wiped. Or the USB stick that I carry most of the time for my work. Or my Abacus watch. Or my phone. Or my camera that is by my side all the time.
He wants to run a wireless network. Do you think he needs to have his cables certified? What are you going to do, certify the signal coming out of an access point.
If you fly me up there, I'd do it for even less, but it'd have to be by myself, and it would take a few days.

I thought we were still on 5.x?? You mean Windows is still around at 9.x in the future?
I visited these profiles, and didn't get the pop-up??? Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4

does it run Linux?

Sorry for grammar or spelling, I'm on my Zaurus.

Damn it, and I just got my VoicePulse account, which is already expensive with the two lines. Now it has to be more??

Actually, from their TOS:

That is why I use FlashBlock. Actually, I use Linux first, so that helps, but when I am on Windows, FlashBlock, in addition to Firefox, helps.

Of course you never heard about it. It's because they went somewhere else. I would have.

Well, luckily for me, I have Nextel, so I guess I am safe. "No Service" should say "Safe from NSA"
I'm actually working on a customers computer right now that is running Windows ME. Thankfully, there is a firewall.
