"I disabled the snooze button on my clock so I always have to get up"
I actually did this! Just not on purpose.
Once upon a time, the on/off switch wasn't working. An alarm is not so useful if doesn't buzz. Worse than simply failing, it was intermittent. So I would sometimes go to bed with it on, and wake up much too late with it off. I noticed the soft/loud switch was similar and worked fine (though I didn't use it), so I decided to open that sucker and see if I could make a replacement. I'm no good with hardware, so after I was done the snooze button no longer worked.
Hold the phone! No need to change your worldview! Thanks to Firesomething, you can run SteakKnife Gun Browser and no one need know you're running that gay pansy homeosekshul Minimo.
C# is a winner for these kinds of applications: it is far simpler and less error prone than C++, For a community that still uses Fortran? I don't think that's their biggest concern.

I'm curious... what makes you say Firefox looks out of place in Linux? I can see you like it, because you use it in Windows. The question "why would someone still use the whole suite" has been asked here a few times, so I'd like to hear your reasoning:)
apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the zealots ever done for us?
I wrote it that way to mock sites that display such a message. Yeah, it's not strictly true. I'll get rid of it when FF 1.1 comes out and I don't have the problem anymore:)

But hey, the on/off switch works again
I also was wasted for the first 2-3 hours of every day.
:)
I don't want to sound like a killjoy, but maybe it would help if you didn't reach for a beer first thing in the morning.
Massachusetts program (which was recently interpreted to allow in Microsoft's proprietary formats)
Crap! Do you have more information?
I have a newfound respect for Yahoo after seeing they made him player 666 :)
Funny, I also think of Adriana Lima when I see a card. Ok, and when I don't see a card.
/me slaps British around a few times
You must be drunk to count like that. Snap out of it!
Correct.

I knew one girl (EE) who was very cute and in a number of my classes. Every time there was a test, she would wear a dress and look really sexy.
It's a dirty trick: using your curves to mess up the curve.
Joel is an insightful guy, but he approaches software exclusively as a deliverable intended to Get The Job Done Now
That is a good point, and Joel himself touches on this in Five Worlds of Software.
(I am a Joel but not that Joel)
I am curious - how useful do you find your MS-CS to be? I ask because I'm going to have one soon :)

In a nutshell, an ever present large mass of air under an expansive transparent collector (seven kilometres in diameter)
So the nutshell must also be at least seven kilometres in diameter. Imagine the size of the tree!

The link next to the text... Find out more about what is going on in south east Wales
This galaxy is in south east Wales? Why did it take so long to find it?! Oh right, cause it's dark.
Michael Jackson agrees with your physics professor.

I don't think I've ever seen someone use American AND British spelling standards
Man, this joke has been done. Stop beating a dead wombat.

Oh, did you mean Dubya's mother or his daughter?
You're right.

Not only that but I'm still getting dupes and spleling errors.
