    It's very rare that I go through the Fast Lane going less than 30 MPH. Even 40 a few times. I have never gotten a speeding ticket for doing so.

    There are CAMERAS next to the lanes to take a photo of your license plate if your tag isn't working (or you don't have one). This did happen to me once, and I was charged just as if everything worked fine.

    I have also heard this about France. I know it's true in Canada.

    Part of the benefit of having a guide dog is that it can be a true companion to a blind person, and many times more trustworhty than a robot. A dog isn't going to crash and require a reboot, and kibble is easier to figure out than rechargeable batteries.

    And most importantly: the dog won't eat their medicine for fuel.

    I'm sorry, but you are misinformed. Ctrl + mouse scroll is exactly how I change the font size (thus fixing the Slashdot bug).

    It also does NOT move the page up and down.

    I hike in NH and I hear about the Appalachian Trail thru-hikers taking several months off from work. So that's what I immediately thought of when I heard about this. Did you do something like that? Regardless, taking 8 months off to hike is pretty cool :)
