You rock. As a language nerd, I appreciate your contribution:)
However, Ethnologue lists 48(!) Romance/Italic languages. A quick check found that these also have over a million speakers each:
Galician (Spain, 3M)
Emiliano (Italy, 3M)
Ligurian (Italy, 1.8M)
Lombardo (Italy, 8M - even more than Catalan)
Napoletano (Italy, 7M - ditto)
Piemontese (Italy, 3M)
Sardinian (Italy, 1.5M)
Sicilian (Italy, 4M)
Veneto (Italy, 2M)
France has Alsatian - in the Germanic family - at 1.5M and several other Romance languages I couldn't find numbers for.
As an American, I find that simply amazing. Sure, a US Midwesterner and an Aussie are gonna have some vocabulary issues, but it's very much the same language. Imagine speaking one language in your state/province, but another (related one) to relate to the rest of your country. The Germanic-speaking portions of Europe are like this too.
Back on topic, sort of. One theory is that it's U2's fourteenth album. Or we can just assume Bono is dumb.:)
Oh what the hell. I've got 6 too. I think everyone does now. Email me at my gmail address above and somehow prove you're a real person, and you can have one.

I have used OWA for about a year now, and noticed a big improvement a few months ago. I quite like it now, and I use Firefox.
The old version wouldn't work so well except in IE (which defeated my purpose entirely: to view my workmail at home, on Linux)
But after trail and error (MANY errors) I had some success on the dating section. I have not posted to the forums. I also have made quite a few friends in the activities section.
I met my current girlfriend on craigslist and dated someone I met on MatchDoctor. My friends (all in roughly your situation, it seems) have had good experience at OkCupid, Emode, and Yahoo.
I can't test any of these links at work cause the filter blocks them. I hope they're correct.
What you've experienced may be due to the coverage levels of GSM and CDMA networks in the US. As I understand it, CDMA is far more extensive. If all the CDMA towers were replaced with GSM, I imagine you'd get a much better signal on your GSM phones.
I don't have any stats on which works better in a controlled experiment.
...sent a capsule into orbit with 4 people and a few tons of cockroaches. First one to freak out and open the door loses.
Out the airlock? Yeah, I'd call that a loss.
For those unfortunate souls who are unaware of "Eh Steve" - Sweet Cuppin' Cakes (link to Flash site)
The irony in the parent comment is left as an exercise to the reader.

Heheh. So true. Seems like every email I've gotten for the last week had that tacked on the end.
Uh, go sox?
Now, with the skills he learned playing video games, Sam is able to drive himself almost anywhere.
I like how the next article on the front page is about Grand Theft Auto.
And what would be wrong with the cloned meat, provided it can have the same flavor/nutrition/etc as real meat?
I accept that we kill cows for food and clothing, but making them without cows has benefits too. It could take up a lot less space for instance.
As for some PETA-inspired dream of setting the cows free in the wild... I'm sure humans aren't the only ones who find them slow and tasty.
Remember! If you don't see him...
YOU'RE that guy.
I think the Big Two also need to go through these hoops. It's just that it's trivial for such well-oiled machines, and tough for the little guy.

Wow, this guy sounds like a hoot. I'll have to read up on Mr. Clement C. Costello. Wonder if he has any connections to the Loebs up in NH?
And my apologies for the comment. I understand the situation a little better after reading about the 1972 campaign.
Oh yes. Kerry the outsider. That's a good one.
Though I guess it's relative. Are you an upstart here if your family's only lived here 200 years rather than 300?
That usually frightens the passengers. Look what happened to Shatner!

There are buildings on the moon now? Great Scott!
Yeah right. Next you'll tell me that Greedo didn't shoot first.
What? He's a member.
Sweet, I'll take five!
And it was the submitter's own site! Don't you feel dumb, JimMarch? :)
Ig Nobel winners often ARE awarded for something useful. It's just funny that they were researching using using gorilla suits.
Why not? That's what I use it for anyway.
Heh. Yes, in general the quality IS appalling :)

I'm a cheap bastard. So I go for the free sites.

And oddly enough, they're making the movie again.
