The reason is that the people that knew and didn't care, are now too lazy to move their fat asses and change their sedimentary lifestyle, that they're costing the rest of us. No wonder 36% of the US population is overweight.
Sitting on your ass and eating by itself is bad, add in a bad diet and you're a time bomb.
I do understand your frustration. I also seem to have max karma, but now I'm not only not appreciated with the ad blocking toggle being useles, but I have "promoted" articles.
"The tire is almost 200 years old. It had its last big innovation about 70 years ago (radial tires)."
I guess you forgot about run-flat tires and the countless innovations in compound and tread design. Whereas it's not a NASCAR type thing, watch F1 to see how tires are constantly bring improved.
I "finger printed" my browser and the website reported two different fingerprints. I changed nothing. So the UUID the website says is my fingerprint (by itself) is basically useless for tracking this browser.
is there is absolutely no control over the use of these products. Once any information is obtained, intelligent agencies just use parallel construction or other methods to convict someone. Had they not had access to the use of these devices, surely many many prosecutions would be impossible or alleged crimes unknown.
Cop having these devices are like foxes guarding hens.
This happens all the time. It's generally done by some dead-end user that CC's instead of BCC's a group of people he knows the latest greatest cat video, or even better, a forward this email and receive $$ (or save the children) email. Even more funny is when this is caused by malware installed by some executable executed by said user that is repetitively spewing out garbage email to everyone on the address list or even worse is used on a botnet.
The only reason this is brought to light is the said dead-end users calls you about why his computer is so slow he can't watch cat videos because he's got so many pop-ups.
Just goes to show, just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
" for a month with malware on it. Accessing KAT right now would be foolish."
Only if you are ignorant enough to allow your browser to execute foreign processes blindly or grant them permissions. As far as any swarm being infected, same deal, running unknown executables / scripts or "installers" without a sandbox is just plain stupid.
"His arrest in Poland, however, demonstrates again that cybercriminals can run, but they cannot hide from justice."
No, what his arrest demonstrates is how low we have become allowing Hollywood to buy laws, how little understanding judges and juries have of technology, and how weak Poland is permitting us to fuck with a sovereign citizen.
Whereas this forced upgrade is a new way to forcibly fuck their consumer and I find it pretty reprehensible, at least Verizon has had a pretty documented history of protecting their customers ID's from the *AA. Got to hand it to them for that,
Is fear and greed. The fearful will be selling into unnecessary mania, created by an after-hours market with questionable liquidity. The whole "event" is a designed opportunity to create trades. The market profits with the increased volume. The event becomes news and the media gets their share. The market makers make it on the spread and volume. The sharks get fed by the minnows. The institutions filter-feed on the buying opportunity created by shaking out of the fearful.
And so it goes until the "next" news opportunity arrives for the news to sell.
Quite honestly the chart shows a strong long that the institutions will surely be happy about. But what do I know?
The acknowledgement would also at a minimum be an admission of multiple violations of section 301 of the Communications Act.

"Or Mandarin, "
Problem with that is there are more English speakers in China than the US (or any other country).

Has an AOL account? Jeeze, that just about says it all doesn't it?

Before any else. Flux capacitor. Now.. on to conversation with some utility...
"The fundamental problem with all lighter than air craft has been landing, taking off, or being handled on or near the ground"
In any aircraft, flying is easy. It's only the mandatory part of flying that's hard, landing.
If the could only find someone with an OS genee, they'd be all set.
Just because someone can demonstrate ability to test, doesn't necessarily mean they are intelligent.
UK steel workers (or their Indian owners) how beneficial and fair trade with China is.
BoA (previously Bank of Italy) are Big Assholes well know for their abuses of customers. Never ever do business with them.
They also asked the Judge for an emergency injunction to require their customers to submit to further sodomy,

Because most of the time she's dirty.

The article actually reads:
"you want to be tied up by a woman and then have sex with her"
I don't know but I think we're talking about different specialists here aren't we?

Now we have a stable product to install on the dark side of the Moon, just need to figure the network end and we'll be in the money!
No need to hit the Supreme Court, just a decent juror that knows about nullification and is willing to exercise that option.
