It's great when all these very wealthy/successful companies can afford to just hand out massive benefits , but for the majority of companies that are no way as successful (and also provide most of the jobs in the USA), they simply can't afford to pay people for months while not working
Best money I ever spent on my parents (and me). Apple handles EVERYTHING -- their tech support is amazing for people. Don't subject your elderly parents to a Windows PC offshore tech support experience where they play the blame game (MS says call manufacturer, and then manufacturer says call MS). Or better yet, just get then iPads...
Have you used LastPass? LastPass has several options to not re-enter a master password if you choose: 1) If you have an iPhone you can unlock the vault with TouchID 2) Create a 4 character pin
Both of these are enabled after x minutes that you set post entering your master password. Between having a passcode/touchID to unlock the iphone, having to enter last pass master password, and then having a secure pin post master password I feel it is secure enough for my needs.
Seriously, what is so damn hard about integrating SMS with messaging.
except please don't copy iMessage's "feature" where it tells you the message is delivered but the recipient never gets it.
Never happened to me. I bet most people who had claim this happened didn't understand the difference between the GREEN text for SMS and the blue text for iMessage
Nimoy made millions of dollars (articles point to 45 million -- http://www.foodworldnews.com/a... ) . What happened to all of that or did Adam not get any inheritance?
The reason YOuTube was successful at the start was it was full of nothing but copy protected content posted illegally. People seem to forget this, but in the early days that's all people used it for until Google swooped in and gave it plenty of cash to change.
Did you notice how most of them were before the return of Jobs at an older and wiser stage of life? I don't think the U2 ipod represents a huge flop given all the other ipods were doing well, and the cube is a fantastic design that was just too expensive (some would say it birthed the current Mac Mini).
I think the rise of cheap home theater is why people aren't bothering as much with going to the theater (I stopped going to theaters years ago, my home theater is far more pleasant)
So they ruin the day both for thousands of kids with new consoles and the tech support/security teams for the companies who now have to come in to work on Christmas. I have another theory why they do this on Christmas -- this group of hackers (at a psychological level) are just sad and lonely people who are angry with the world and want to ruin the joy/fun for others.
You must not be very observant or extremely patient if you think iPad 2 is the same "use speed" as it was 2-3 iOS versions ago. It's tremendously slower under iOS 7...
In the 1980's, IBM (among others) invested lots of money to have legislation passed that makes programmers, engineers, and sysadmins into "salaried professionals" so that they wouldn't have to pay overtime.
What legislation was this specifically that forced these folks to be "salaried" because I never heard of such a thing?
Uh the max speed you get on a gige line is about 80MB/s. The theoretical Max is 100MB/s. I don't think you got 400MB/s on your slightly better consumer router. That's not possible on gige
For kids of the 1980s this movie was first exposure towards the medium. Additionally it heralded the dawn of the hacker and government misunderstanding of the hacker capabilities -- specifically some of the problems Kevin Mitnick faced. Really surprised it wasn't mentioned.
And from us star wars fans let me say THANK YOU George.

If a field has the word "science" in the title, it's probably not science.

Congrats on jailbreaking an os which is already jail broken?

So teledyne will be able to use this technology to improve their water pics!

All while google harvests tons of information about android users....
Of course, how else will MS force Windows 8 on people...
