    2. Even if it did, the common /. etiquette is to post anonymous so you don't get karma.
2a. Unless you're posting a link to a mirror you made, and therefore you're using your bandwidth to host it and your time to mirror it, then you deserve some karma.

Well, at least with space travel.. Once we screw the world up enough, we can just move to another planet (which we will screw up.. And simply hop to another one)

But if we just pump oil, we'll ruin the environment then run out of oil and be stuck on this planet as we all die from economic collapse and cancer

I say we build space ports EVERYWHERE and kill as many endangered species as we can.. Because I'm sure Mars has a lot cooler animals than we'll ever have anyway!

I agree. It has some nice features but audio on the same cable as video just isn't one of them.

With composite cables, I either have to buy a separate video cable from the audio cables, or get an extension for the video connector to connect it to my audio equipment which is never near my video equipment. At least it's possible with those cables, but it would seem a lot harder with HDMI.. Although I suppose if HDMI is the standard something will be done to fix these problems but still.

About a year ago (maybe less) my provider (Cox) decided to upgrade everyone, I went from 2.5mbit down to 5mbit and 256kbit up to 512kbit, with no price changes. Now if only they'd remove the stupid 30 gig/month download limit (max 2gb a day).. Not that I've had any problems with that since I go over all the time and they've never contacted me about it.

Yep.. One of the first things I did when I installed iTunes for my iPod was disable the iTunes Store function.. Although maybe I'm just cheap, afterall I'd never actually buy an iPod, I got mine for free from that website, but still I think it's true. Most people have the music, they just want a portable player. The iPod is just really good at everything it does, from the internals to just the overall look of it.
