As long as multiplayer is segregated.. blacks on one server, whi... i mean console users on one server and pc users on the other..
im HORRIBLE at games (i was good as a child though hmm), i dont play any on my PC and i rarely play any on consoles but I do play halo 2 and ill be buying a 360+halo 3 when it comes out..
At least with all console multiplayer I have a chance (up until about level 13, then i always die and give up for a year then buy another 12 month xbox live subscription to play for another month and then get mad and quit again for another year) but if pc users start playing i'll get my ass kicked by level 1's.
So if they ever do have it for pc i hope they keep everyone separate or add an option for console users to play with only other console users.
After reading the interview with the CEO that was linked in another post, and seeing that.. I think what google should do is simply take control of utube.com and put a page with 2 links "looking for youtube videos click here" and "looking for universal tubing click here" and then link to their new domain that they bought for them.
simply and cheap for google and allows the tubing company to get back to business
This is pretty cool.. i hate trying to search code on normal google, it usually filters out most of the search characters and you end up with nothing useful.
Now if only they'd add regex searching to normal google (unless it already has it and i'm missing it?)
heh the place where i bought my first x86 computer is being sued.. good they deserve it! they sold crappy hardware, my 486 board had missing components and they just moved some jumpers around to hide the defective functions, but as soon as i wanted to change some stuff i started having problems and realized what happened
By default windows compresses all windowsupdate/service pack uninstall directories (i.e. c:\winnt\$NtUninstallKB123456$), it also compresses the dllcache directory (which keeps backups of system dlls and drivers)
I was at work one night and someone in another department comes over and says a PC is on fire.
I go over, black smoke shooting out the back.. horrible smell. I unplug it, bag it and put it in a back room to cool off.
Next day I open it up, the seagate drive had caught fire. It was one of those seagates wrapped in a rubber cover and that melted. I took the rubber off and saw it was one of the chips.. it actually looked just like the chip in the article link, same location too.
This was the coolest dead hard drive though.. the drive had been running for months (not working obviously) but spinning away grinding and grinding, finally noticed it when we had to shut down the server once and when it took forever to boot and reported a bad drive i took it out and opened it and saw that
you seemed to have missed the point of this service.. its not just that the google site is accessible, it's that google actually sorts the results showing more accessible sites first.. meaning google says when searching "microsoft" there are more accessible sites than microsoft so it displays them first, whereas searching for slashdot or digg shows slashdot and digg as result 1 meaning google considers the two sites to be accessable
Out of all the Ubuntu/linux distros i've tried, i thought Xubuntu was the prettiest. Normal Ubuntu is poop colored. Kubuntu is ugly because KDE is ugly. Edubuntu is ugly because its for kids. Base KDE/GNOME installations are ugly. GNOME was my favorite before but after trying Xubuntu/XFce I think it's the best looking.
Here's an easy way to increase the IIS 6 vulnerability count: Let's get a look at the IIS 6 code, oh wait, you can't.
Just because there's been less patches doesn't mean it's more secure.
In fact, I say the less patches a program has the more insecure it is. I say everyone should release at least 3 patches a day for every program even if it's bug free, just to make it look good.
(ok kidding about the last part, serious about the first)
Google maps rendering has been weird, havent tried it in 9.0 yet though.. Even so, it was usable for what I used it for.
The only problem with Gmail I'd have is that after I login it would just sit there and not go to my inbox. All I had to do to fix that is change http:/// to https:/// and press enter and it would connect.. That seems fixed in 9.0, yay!
umm? i was using it yesterday and it wasnt down.. i just went right now and its not down either

It appeared in automatic updates yesterday.. auto updates only show critical updates.
It's also listed as a critical update on the website when I checked this morning on a work pc.

All our users are locked down, so good luck with that hehe
yes because every single sirius user listens to stern and only stern.. every other sirius channel has 0 listeners
howie math is funny
o&a have way more listeners, especially on terrestrial radio
howard is irrelevant and delusional, as are his fans who actually believe howie math
howard isn't on any radio stations.. he's only on sirius, where he belongs, with his 10 listeners
O&A! O&A! O&A! O&A! O&A!

mmmm regex
Wouldn't it be easier to just make a copper mouse? Copper kills germs.
Plus after time your mouse will go from copper color to green, so you'll get 2 styles for the price of 1
For $68 i got all 3 and it came with the graphic novel version of each movie.. which i wont read because comics give me headaches.
DAMN YOU GEORGE LUCAS!
WHY MUST I KEEP BUYING YOUR CRAP? oh well now that i have the originals i think im done, no more star wars dvds for me!

It costs $750 less than a DB8512NMC912 2000 Ultra (or £852 with optional Flux Capacitor)
Xubuntu
It's like Ubuntu but it runs XFce instead of GNOME. It's more lightweight and im my opinion prettier, will probably run good on your laptop.
Although you may want to upgrade the RAM
And install it from the server CD not Desktop CD because the live desktop cd will probably run like crap on 64m
Ever heard of cassette adapters? FM transmitters? Aux jacks?
Except for the fact that slashdot linked to the nyud.net distributed mirror thingy and not the actual site.
since when has the 4th been a religious holiday?

That page is too ugly for me to read. Perhaps if they implemented some CSS it would make it easier to read?
