I agree completly: computers are tools and one uses whatever is best fit for the job, but I just couldnt' see too many people around the office here wanting to admin linux, nor explain to people why during boot it's now a penguin instead of a Window.

IT seems to me unless you have hardcore certified geeks in your company, linux will cost you a lot in consultants. A lot of people can easily set up a windows or Mac box, but as for linux, it requires a more savvy end user. a LOT more savy.

When my friends gather round to play games,and attempt to use PCs, it usually needs to be crossplatform, and not only that everyone has about 209329834 configurations they have to make, aside from that they may have to download updates to make sure we are all on the same version of the software.
Whereas on the gamecube, if we want to play some Smash Bros, we just plug in 4 controllers and fire up the game. Easy peasy, and monkey ball is only 1 little GCD away, instead of having to reconfigure things to use another game.
Aside from that, it's $50 for a gamecube game, and that handles all 4 of us. It's $50 a person on the pc.
as a rabid mac fanboy I have to say: Do us mac users a favour, stay with wintel. We mac users need a group with a larger market share so as to soak up the Malware and (virii?)(Viruses?)Our security through obscurity only works if we're obscure. So all of you, shut the hell up!
