This is pure fud by the original poster. This was to amend Section 102(c) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 to allow the secretary of DHS to expedite the construction of barriers at the border without judicial review. Basically, there are areas of the US-Mexican border that have not had a fence built because radical environmentalists have tied it up in the courts. This was to bypass the courts to finish the fence. Nothing more. Besides, it has be struck out of the final bill.

Let's look at some average (from 1994, sorry a bit dated, but the FBI reports violent crimes are at an all time low) U.S. annual figures for accidental deaths and the analogous "solutions":

11,000 falling fatalities. Solution; outlaw stairs?
5,000 drownings. Solution; fill in all the pools?
5,000 buring fatalities. Solution; ban matches, lighters, heaters, cigarettes, and fireplaces?
4,500 fatal poisonings. Solution; remove household chemicals and solid foods from our lives?
3,000 choking deaths. Solution; ban food (feed everyone intravenously)?
1,400 accidental gun deaths. Solution; ban guns.

I don't understand either. My family has the $9.95 a month plan for AOL if you access it throught a different ISP. How could you dail into AOL and think that you wouldn't pay access charges when there is a big a$$ warning box that asks if you agree to additional charges. Don't tell me it didn't show up either because I've had AOL more than 4 years and dialed into it a few times and the warning always showed up.

My question is why NYPD even got involved. If NYPD took back the prototype with force without the permission of the bank clerk then that would be illegal. If you receive an item through the mail by mistake your are NOT obligated to give it back and it is NOT illegal for you to keep it.
