    somebody needs to create a set of headphones (in both normal and "sport" versions) that
    1 blocks outside noise (or filters it below danger levels))

    2 includes a way for a Guardian/Other Caretaker to send sounds into the headset (even if its a Attn! Chirp)

    3 compresses the dynamic range to cut the need to crank the volume

    4 clips the top end of volume

    I would give a push and include NonTemp Green card holders as Citizens for this purpose.

    any smart system would have a flag for "Requires Employee Verification" since i know for a fact that in NC|USA the ALE folks try to trap stores.

    Fun Factoid: In North Carolina if you have an out of state ID card it is not valid for Alcohol/Cigarettes
    Valid includes: US DL , NC ID , Military ID card , Passport (with English text)

    Okay FLAG ON PLAY

    1 retailers have the right to refuse service for any reason (and even lie about what the reason is)

    2 If the bakery is chartered as a Faith Based Business then first amendment applies (of course it would be best if said bakery referred the couple to another bakery)

    3 Do you really want to risk the bakery making the cake to not "spike" the cake?? (lots of stuff you can add to the cake that would be unpleasant but perfectly plausible)

    and i would expect a service to enforce its own rules even if we are talking about the POTUS

    no catching a trespassing charge (and others if the LEO is in a bad mood) is the big issue if you go to store you need to be there to 1 BUY 2 Shop 3 return an item going to a store to interfere with that store doing business is criminal

    The Jargon File made reference to The First Bug being in the Smithsonian and somebody from there heard and basically was about to say "Oi no we don't" but it turns out the folks that did (the NSWC) had been trying to get it to the Smithsonian.

    heck for what its worth you could filter algae out of Seawater (discard the salt and water) and make lots of Oil
