    Is the data you are downloading saved to the PB servers? no
    only the .torrent files (which is legal) shows a link to the tracker which hosts the data that shows the peers, the people who HAVE all or part of the files stored, they are just acting like an ISP, connecting the dots.
    the infringing content is not physically on their servers not does the data being transferred pass through their servers, just like google links to bad sites, they arent responsible for the content within those sites.

    Or take them to the courts, as the website isnt illegal, its not like child porn or anything... its a search engine... no content is hosted, get a precedent set?
    or find a country with better laws, dont just give up and move on.

    I agree, i refuse to go to the movies cause its so expensive, i would consider going if it was $10 a ticket...
    the subscription model seems very good , even have family packages...
    if it was $20/mo i would go more often (or say $49.90 for 2 adults and 2 kids), considering when you have kids they also want food, the sales would boost (although $50/mo does start to feel steep per month... even if you miss a few months).

    create an API and provide an interface where your client base can interface with the data.
    there are a lot of places out there that does this, as its considered Intellectual Property.

    disable UI elements
    restrict permissions
    internet through proxy
    logging

    i actually had to look into this a while ago for 50 students, and looked at deploying pxe boot images using clonezilla
    those links i provided were from my bookmark list, you would only configure 1 image and roll it out, and need to only update 1 image to rollout.

    all the ISP's saying they "voluntarily" apply the mandatory filtering state its easy enough to bypass, doesn't affect P2P traffic, only websites. I'm in Australia and have been using OpenDNS for years. the ISPs DNS servers really do suck and some even use custom error pages.
    Thing is,once the NBN is setup, the gov will have complete control over the data, and where to route it.

    it isnt a CDN per-se its a DNS proxy that caches a static page of your site when it goes down, the data from this is insignificant than when every users loads an image.
    see How can CloudFlare afford to offer a free CDN?

    umm, jail break it, install ssh, ssh into the box, install httpd server. done theres your how-to manual.

    Drupal is LAYG (Learn As You Go) as its so dynamic and versatile and can be manipulated in so many ways, especially with the new version (7).
    Theres no point learning everything about the system as most of the knowledge will go unused, its better to setup the framework and then add the features you need by learning how to add them to the API.
    With enough detail, help in the forums are unbelievable.
