Usually when a web developer (including me) develops a flash site they develop an HTML version of that site for non-browsers. So if I were blind I just don't install Flash and I am all set.
I spend all day reading and replying to the comments. Will this tool tell me when there is a new comment? God can you think of the bandwidth killer this could be.
This reminds me of an old saying my dad used to say...or was it Tim Allen:

Actually no. Me and my co-workers have been sitting here watching the comments laughing all day at this thread.
This is great seeing this many comments about my little post. Let the debate rage I don't care that is what the first ammendment is for. And what I did is not sleezy. What would have been sleezy would have been if the link would have been a one-click purchase of the book. But instead I used an associates link that you can easily tell is an associates link by looking in the status bar. It is not like I redirected you without you knowing.
No it is actually a NETBios communications message. It is getting sent using the net send command in Windows. I have had a couple of these messages. Very annoying.

It is almost as if these stores are owned by AOL Time Warner. They have the same philosophy which is we know what is best for our customers.
