True, some laws are very congruant with morality, such as murder and theft, but there are non-moral justifications for those as well.
Translation: You're right. Some laws, such as murder and theft, could coincidentally be construed as moral-based. However, I refuse to be allow my whole argument to be proven wrong, so I will make desperate attempts to throw up smoke and mirrors in the form of un-backed-up claims and through extremely specific examples.
Why stop there? I think this pushed me over the edge. I'm not using any Google products any longer. And I haven't just stopped there, I'm boycotting any platform that runs Google products or their searches. I'm not even using my computer right now to write this. To show my indignation, I've decided to cancel my power bill. Hell, since we're already having fun overreacting, I'm just going to run naked through the streets proclaiming the end of the world, all brought to you by Google(tm).
...and as of Nov. 24th none of them have been documented to ever go back.

Because I want to use my computer as soon as I plug the monitor in. I don't want to leave it in the corner, OS-less, and I don't want to spend extra time installing an OS of my choice. I would have had to spend that extra time anyway if I didn't like the present OS.
The findings demonstrate that some plants and animals have evolved the same molecular strategy to deter predators -- triggering pain by activating a specific receptor on sensory nerves.
I'm trying to remember the last time I was bitten by a chili pepper.
This man didn't lose a few hundred dollars, and he didn't set the reserve for less than he paid for it. The receipt is in Canadian dollars, and the auction itself is in US dollars. On a second note, who knew the PS3 was pushing a thousand Canadian bucks. You know it's expensive when you've almost broken four digits.:)

When I was in Korea, the hasukchib I stayed in had a giant room for a shower, which had a mirror in it. I found shaving in there while my face was soft from the hot water was incredible. Those were the best shaves I've ever gotten.

Sure, so long as you let us keep the time machine after we've complied!
Informative. :)
I think http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/11/13 eloquently puts the point across.
Very funny, dangitman. :)
I'm a human, you insensitive clod!

'The war in Lebanon proved that we need smaller weaponry. It's illogical to send a plane worth $100 million against a suicidal terrorist.'
Maybe it's just me, but that sentence makes it sound like we're running terrorists over with our jets. Teehee

Wow! Such hostility! You might think your parents were killed by members of the Scrabble mafia, with your show of raw hatred.

I like this guy, but I ran out of mod points too soon.
Oh, yes. Batteries, "the non-electric alternative".
Perhaps the expression is, "[I don't care very much at all.] I could care less, [so you should be thankful.]"
