Well obviously if 41% of the FBI's resources are devoted to tracking down people looking at pictures of naked kids... then there is no incentive to catch the people making it. Prosecuting the producers would put 1/2 the FBI out of a job...
Of course it's added after. However, let's assume that the manufacturer of the hardware knows it's performance characteristics. (Pulling these numbers out of thin air now) Let's assume the ccd captures the image and tosses it into ram. The time in transit from the image sensor to ram is.036 seconds. Wouldn't it be logical to assume, that the image processing software that adds the time stamp would take current_time -.036 = actual time the image was captured and write THAT time to the time stamp encoded into the image?
After that happens, you have all day (or until memory is full) to process the raw image and write the processed image to the file system.
Either way, the images were taken.363 seconds apart. Even if it took 2 minutes to process, the timestamps would still be.363 seconds difference from one image to the next.
I would think they would take that into account in something with 1/1000 of a second accuracy.
Either way, the guy is using the images to refute the accuracy of the measurement take by the radar. Sounds pretty solid to me.
I would have liked to have seen him install something like wordperfect for dos and/or PFS First choice and see how well that lasted over the upgrades...
I always thought that it would be a good idea to not pay politicians until AFTER their term was finished. Provide them with a car and driver, a fully stocked apartment/house, sets of suits or clothes that will be needed in the course of their work, and basically make it so they do not need cash while they are in office. Also, do not allow them to receive any gifts over a certain amount (like $100) from any one entity (person or corporation) for the duration of their term in office.
They work for us, and if they expect to reap the benefits of being a public employee, they would have to do a good job.
Then, at the end of their term, the people whom they represent will vote on what percentage of their "back pay" they are entitled to based on their performance in office.
I think that would help keep things in check. This includes the POTUS as well. Right now, getting voted into congress is almost an instant way to become a millionaire.
How about you take their licence agreement, cross out the parts you don't like, sign and date it, then place it, with a copy of your own EULA stating your preferred terms for use of the console, into an envelope and send it via registered mail to SCEA. Don't forget to include something along the lines of "by opening this envelope, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA...":)
Also, they need to call it something trendy like iPV6 (small i) or i6Network and get some solid marketing behind it. Something about there being no (legacy) viruses on the new i6Network or something... Oh, and make all the packets shiny white in the commercials.
Check out www.mikrotik.com. Large models of routers that are cheap and powerful. Most take mini-pci cards so you can put what you like in them and they all support ipv6 out of the box. You can also used a wine compatible gui to configure them if you are afraid of the command line.
Can't agree more. I drove a car for 15 years before I got my first motorcycle. Ended up driving the motorcycle 29km to work and back every day. After doing that for a month, I have never driven a car the same way since. I check my mirrors and blind spots more often looking for bikes and such since I wouldn't want someone to kill me when I was on a bike.
Almost thinking that a motorcycle licence should be a prerequisite to getting a normal vehicle license...
My au IS03 android 2.1 phone here in Japan already supports this. They just call it Saifu Keitai (wallet phone). It supports Felica, Edy, and several others here just as most every other phone in the country has supported for the last 5+ years. Nothing new here.
Here in Japan, right before they open a new register, the new checkout person goes to an existing queue and notifies the next person waiting. This way, you get the benefit of a new register opening but none of the line jumping.
I'm sorry, but Google made the OS and made it open source. Complaining that this is Google's fault is like complaining that I can't use dpkg or apt on Gentoo or Redhat right out of the box.
The point is choice. The OS is free. You don't like it? Compile a rom for your device and flash it yourself. That is a choice you have. That is also a choice the carriers or phone manufacturers have.
What about edge blending projectors with these cards? I have a triple projector setup but there are no cheap blendint solutions.

Actually, we put flash support on the PSP after Sony stated that they would never add it. http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2006/03/psp-flash-swf-player-sour.html
Shortly after that, Sony added official flash support.
Look at the gp's username a little more closely...
Brix will be shat :)

Yes, exactly.

I've never seen an option that lets you install a game to the hard disk on a PS3. Care to share where that option is? Thought not.
oblig: you must be new here.
Yes, but the post you are responding to is making a not so subtle jab at the **AA's interpretation of the word "steal".
So basically, if you never connected your PS3 to the internet and signed up for a PSN account, you can do as you please?

People still use word perfect?!? :)
Wait what? Are you saying Leonard Nimoy should be tossed in jail because he narrated a TV show?

Or you just call Boss Hog and he'll call the judge and take care of it for ya'll.
