Does anyone have these fixtures installed at their place of employment?
Yes. But it smelled real bad and had a handle on it that did nothing. Could never figure out the technology. Must be too advanced for me.
It's not just a Microsoft concept ("copy someone elses idea then try to extend it"). It's a fact of the business world. Google had a competitive advantage, so Microsoft moves in to destroy that advantage. Business is business, fight for the consumer.
"...duping unsuspecting Internet users out of thousands of pounds..."
By punishing these entrepreurs out of their honest business practice in the market of weight loss, are we not discouring a free market economy? Were trade sanctions not one of the reasons that the great depression began? Attitudes like this sicken me. Although they are unsuspectingly taking people's weight off, and I guess thereby charging them, at least they aren't running fraudulent programs which show only 'extreme cases' where people have lost 20, 40, or even as much as 100 pounds. Ridiculous.
"And Microsoft may even be responding to all the internal criticism."
Well I'd hope so. If they don't respond, they would most certainly go down in a jiffy. As once a company doesn't respond to internal complaints, those internal complaints will no longer get voiced, and MS will have nothing but speculation on which to evolve their company's structure. If it has already reached a point that employees only voice complaints through external sources, that indicates a problem has surfaced. What they need to do is employ an employee feedback program, with responses to employee suggestions and criticisms (not simply receiving recommendations). Employees want to feel valued, and empowered as if they are impacting the organization, not taken as a pure source of statistics.
Yes, I did just finish reading 2 chapters on organizational behaviour. So sue me.:P
When will these hard drive manufacturers be forced into a class action lawsuit for advertising 500,000,000,000 bytes as 0.5TB (which doesn't equal 500GB, but 512GB)? Where is my other 46.34GB?
On the up side, at least all of these freshly melted ice will result in cleaner oceans due to the chemicals and similar crap being diluted. Yay! I can go swimming again! Although the salt is pretty disgusting.

Now as I understand it, the emphasis on Linux is because it is secure, and free. Therefore, wow, nobody will know you have diabetes, and wow, the doctors will make a larger profit.
In the 90's there was a thing here called "SegaChannel" by the local cable company (Rogers). It was $30.00 a month, and you got access to about 50-100 games, that changed about half of them every month.
We need that back! It was probably the most value that I have ever gotten for my money to do with games. (excluding free)

... or Intel Centrino's. Best performance per watt, and no need to switch to a new platform.
Sounds great. I've got a name for it already, iIntelligence. Wait. iNtelligence? This is harder than it looks.

Overbudget. Bus fare is minimum $2.25 here for adult ($1.50 for child). PLUS you forgot that most bus fares are transferrable for about 90 minutes.
Yeah but can they run it on copper so that I can have a use for all of these PENNIES? My jeans are really getting low.
But do they taste good dipped in chocolate?
... what dual cameras are for. But then again, not really, since they were released before this. Someone please explain.
"Fungal spores are very, very small things."
That's what they said about the plague.
(don't go and correct me saying the plague was before there was knowledge of bacteria and viruses that spread disease, asshole.)

"...the rocket, which in the Cold War would have been armed with nuclear weapons..."
What's to say they sent the right rocket?
Well, this is slashdot. So there is no way that I can get modded down for saying...

Sounds like brainwashing to me. If you don't have a physical establishment like McD's, why not bring your brainwashing right to the consumer?
EVIL!

Interesting? Some ignorant mod out there needs to check his facts. Mod it FUNNY! Like: "HA HA!"
