From the article, Bill is calling it Xenon. Is 360 still the public name?

I thought Episode III was the time frame between Episode II and IV??? Now, there needs to be a TV series between III and IV? Is it a Reality show?

"Mr. Maul, the tribe has spoken..."

Next week on, Episode III.V Luke "I just can't stand it here anymore, I want to be a Jedi, like my father..." "Luke, that's absourd."

the first Legend of Zelda... I was in like 6th grade, and I remember how amazing that game was, how I would dream about it... up 2 screens, left 1 up 2... etc... great game.

  8. Re:Emergency services on AOL Enters the VoIP market · · Score: 1

Yes, my telco Verizon has the option of 911 even without phone service. I use Vonage VoIP and I have it setup to forward to my local 911 office. As for the Verizon always on for 911, I would need a special phone, ala batphone, just for 911. That wouldn't work... in an emergency, I would be like, where is the special Verizon red phone? It would be like looking for the remote when the big game comes on...

  9. Both on Cooler Servers or Cooler Rooms? · · Score: 3, Interesting

I agree, both solutions would help. Our room is a nice cool 62.5. Best condtions to work in!

Cooler rooms also keep others out... we get a lot of, its so cold, and they leave. That's golden =)

  13. Signature on BitTorrent Inherently Illegal? · · Score: 1

Something to possibly look at, wrather than arguing or finding a way around, is to see what papers you signed when starting school. You may have signed something saying you won't use certain programs or use the network for X reasons. Also somewhere in small tiny tiny letters is something stating, we have the right to refuse network traffic and/or the right to change our minds and use your signature as a way our of liability and troubles.

  17. Market on Web Design Hampers Mobile Internet? · · Score: 4, Interesting

Is there that big of a market for mobile internet to have sites double design, one for PCs, one for 320x240 mobile internet devices? I know very few people that use things like that. Usually to check weather and the sports scores.

  21. Do they even check? on Credit card signatures: Useless? · · Score: 1

I would say 9 out of 10 purchases don't even check the back, my signature or my ID. The other 1 out of 10, may look at the back, then notice that there is no signature and give it back to me, with receipt and all. No one even cares anymore. It's like we are doing them a waste of time if they have to ask to check ID / signature.

  22. Parents are the best tool. on Students Do Better Without Computers · · Score: 2, Insightful

I still think parents should be involved in helping with homework. Distrations are TV, Computers, Playstation, etc. If parents spent some time with their kids to get their homework done (not do it for them), it's quality time for kids, and their homework gets done. Then they can do their computers and video games.

  23. IT will do it. on The Rise of Smart Buildings · · Score: 2, Insightful

The IT Dept will do it. With the advanced technologies and networking involved, it's along the same lines as full computer networking. Maybe in the future (10~20 years) it'll be simplified for less qualified. Until then, it's a higher paid salary taking care of it.

  24. Not fair on How ISPs May Quietly Kill VoIP · · Score: 5, Insightful

That's not fair. A new innovation comes and is sucessful, and people have to squash it wrather than create compition, which would in turn create better products and lower prices for consumers, yet possible revenue for the best player. I have vonage. I love it. $25 a month, it kills the same bill from SBC ($73/month, everything the same) and Verizon($93/month, everything the same)

  25. No value on Game Industry Opinion Continues to Burn · · Score: 5, Insightful

There is no real value in most gaming nowadays. Super Mario Brother 35, or Sonic the hedghog 19, NBA basketball 2020. All of it is the same and has been played before. Sure, there are pretty graphics, but, what about game content and gameplay? I miss those years, I do. I like replay value, too. Everything now is, wow, that's cool... next.

Also, I don't like cross-platform games... Super special secret level on the PSXboxCube version.
