    The point was that he's the *finance* guy, and the calculation was 20000/60, not usually a challenging task for someone who works with numbers all day.

    I agree totally. I loved the original. My first experience with it was hanging out in the Mos Eisley cantina, playing music and socializing. The huge variety of professions (and not just different combat types) made for a very deep and varied play experience. I mock what it's become because I miss it so much.

    Well, you've just described 90% of the human race. I guess we're all screwed.

    Joking aside, it's an interesting hypothesis. I certainly wouldn't rule out someone's mental state in regard to survivability. Not so sure about it as a causal factor, though I suppose long-term stress could contribute to weaker systems. I'd love to see a proper study done.

    You're on point right there. I read /. and I had to modify my /. habits to keep it from impacting my life. I realized that I couldn't post on weeknights because it interupted my sleeping schedules... even if I only posted for an hour before bed, the stimulation was too much and my brain just wouldn't shut off.
