A "real free market" can not ever exist. It's merely a hypothetical abstraction or ideal to be approached, but it's not even remotely possible in this universe. It serves the same purpose in Economics as a frictionless plane does in introductory Physics. It's not the case that a bunch of interests conspire to prevent free markets so that they can benefit, it's that they are fictions that aren't real and can not ever be made real.
You have a whole large group of people with a religious belief in free markets, but without the wit to even comprehend what they are.

Also, people making such a statement are most often (in my experience) misusing that term to mean a "completely unregulated market" which is anethema to both anything approximating a free market and anything approximating a free society. Regulation is essential to anything approximating a free market, but bad legislation can screw that up to.

Now, if only we could pick the good parts out from the bad and learn from out mistakes. But that is probably too much to ask.

Probably. That, though, is where the free market idea and the political system ideas come together.
Just like you have a certain segment of the US population trained to screech "socialism" at anything their masters don't want, basically the same people screech "socialism" at any legislation which could free up our markets a bit from the fascist control they're currently under.

Heck, that fact alone proves with 100% certainty that all Jews, Muslims and Christians are delusional fools and liars. Hell they lie straight to their god's face every time they claim to give a shit about him since we know they've never even taken the 5 minutes which is all it would take to *know* the stores about him are lies.

That is why religious people are all so terrifying and such a tremendous liability to decent people in all times and in all places.

Note: None of this tolerance for reasonable religious expression makes terrorism OK.

Actually it absolutely *does*. There isn't any way around this major point. *God* said to do so. The fact that almost no Christians *really* believe their idiotic fairy tales doesn't change the fact that the Bible clearly states that rape and murder are the appropriate tools to use on anybody who isn't of your faith. Jesus never countered any of that and, in fact, said that none of that old vile shit would ever change. Providing any support for any form of religious belief is providing support for the worst of the worst because the most vile of all religious are *exactly* those people who really believe in the religion.

So even though you think you're choosing freely, those choices were entirely predetermined by god at the time he made everything. The Nazis were socialists.

No more than the people's democratic republic of Germany was run by the people, democratic in nature, or a republic. Names are often chosen as intentional lies. This tactic is often used to fools the most ignorant and reactionary members of a population..yourself in this case.

Fascism, along with all other left-wing ideologies, promotes the power of the group over the freedom of the individual.

So all you've managed to do is fall for the Statist's current tactic of completely redefining right, left, and liberalism in order to pretend that right is liberal, liberal doesn't exist and the left is nothing but all the bad parts of the left and the right. Of course, this scheme pretends the actual right doesn't exist even though it is what we're currently dealing with.

It's completely delusional, has no basis in reality and doesn't even allow you to accurately describe the current situation, since you're deeply ignorant, delusional and completely wedded to ideas which are blatant nonsense.

Right and Left are both entirely about using the power of the state against the power of the individual and *always have been*. There has never been a time when the Right been anything except
the elite using the power of the state to keep themselves in power. This is why the list of right wing governments that have ever existed is Feudalism, Theocracy, and Fascism. Those are the right wing governments and not one of them has ever had any support for individual rights or freedom because the right is violently opposed to exactly that *by definition*.

So when you spout idiotic lies demonstrating that you don't have the foggiest idea what the terms you're misusing actually mean, you have to understand that all the intelligent, informed citizens are going to hold you in the deepest contempt.

When you do that in exactly the way promoted by the current rabidly anti-American, fascist scum actively working to undermine every decent thing this country ever stood for, that is to say *Liberalism*, which is neither Left nor Right because both the Left and the Right despise the idea of individual liberty it clearly demonstrates your deep ignorance of basic definitions and your wholehearted swallowing of really stupid, bullshit propaganda and blatant lies.

Oh, that's right, that's exactly what you are doing.

"Right" has nothing to do with regulation or lack thereof. It has to do with a philosophy of elitism where those with wealth and power consider it their right to use that wealth and power to promote and enforce their dominant role in society. That's why corporate welfare is inherently right wing. That's why the right wing governments that have existed are Feudalism, Theocracy and Fascism and there aren't any good ones to be pointed at. The right is purely negative and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever except in the minds of bigots.

The word you're kind of looking for is "Liberalism" which is neither right nor left and in fact their rabid hatred of it is about the only thing which both the left and right can agree upon.
America, for example, was founded *entirely* upon Liberalism. That's why Aristocracy was rejected so utterly. It's why religion was flat out denied any role whatsoever in government as religion in government is entirely incompatible with a free society of any sort.

So when you see the mass of the populace robbed blind and all their money handed to the elite bankers, that's entirely right wing.

It doesn't have shit to do with regulation or non-regulation, it has to do with who is using the regulation to fuck whom out of what. If it's the rich using the power of the state to increase their wealth and power at the expense of everyone else, then that is right wing by definition.

This is exactly what is happening in America and has been at an ever increasing rate ever since WW2 when the Republican party turned rabidly anti-American after Roosevelt manipulated us into war against Hitler who was the hero of the Republican party and of the right wing as a whole.

Republicans are Nazis through and through. This is a simple objective statement of fact which you would know *if you had any idea what Nazism even is*.
It's a simple philosophy to sum up in one sentence as Hitler himself did:
    Rabid opposition to the left

This is Nazism, and it is the only thing that the Republican party has. They sure as shit don't stand for anything else at all. You, being the ignorant fool you've already proven yourself to be think that stands for small government.... in spite of the fact that they are the biggest big government party. But why would you let facts influence your opinions?

This doesn't mean the Democrats aren't scum, but they aren't scum because they're "left" because they aren't. They're scum because they're on the right as well and there is nothing positive about the right and never has been.

Seriously, "right" means what it does because the representatives of the aristocracy, the crown and the church (ever the union of evil) sat on the right and the people's representatives sat on the left in the French assembly.
