Until you provide statistics to support your claim, there is no way in hell I'm going to believe it. I've never heard of a seeing-eye dog biting someone by accident, but every season there's some news report about a hunter shooting another hunter.

i would love to see someone bring up a single case of a time where a blind hunter, being assisted by a seeing person, hurt somebody.

Um, maybe you didn't RTFA, but currently blind people are not legally allowed to hunt. That's the whole point behind this bill. Obviously, you won't find any statistics.

That way, the 99.9999% of the population who are not influenced by these games to commit crimes won't also be punished.

If it succeeds, then assume that the box has been trojaned and then insert the malware and have it do its thing (delete the spambot, activate the firewall, whatever).

I'm not concerned about what's better for them, I'm concerned about what's better for me. They might benefit from cloned cows, because they already live crappy lives. The cost of gas has increased, but consumption has not been affected by any meaningful amount. This is because people will buy the same amount of gas no matter how much it costs, because they need the gas to live their lives. People are also not going to buy new fuel-efficient cars just to save money, becase the cost of a new car far exceeds any savings in fuel. In the meantime, the higher fuel costs affect all industries, depressing the economy. This makes it even harder for people to buy newer fuel-efficient products.

If a person needs to buy a new TV in 1-2 years, he will probably find that HDTV's are affordable. But very few people find themselves in this situation. Even when all OTA signals are DTV, he'll probably buy a converter box instead of a new TV.
