I'm not sure if these are the five things, since the site is Slashdotted, but here's five more I've noticed you cannot discuss about Linux:
1. The negative effects of having multiple distros
2. The GIMP's interface
3. 3rd-Party games (though these days, there ARE a fair amount of good FOSS games)
4. BSD good, Gentoo for ricers
5. Fight Club
This is ironic. Didn't Sony originally DEFEND the concept of personal recording with their Betamax VCRs? I believe that was a landmark case. I'll bet they (Sony) don't even remember they did that.
And that "Xwand" was never an Xbox peripheral. The device existed, but in actuality it wasn't related to Microsoft at all and was meant for home appliances. The blogger who originally made it public is who decided to report that it was an Xbox accessory.
Lenovo didn't buy IBM, just their PC division (the Tink- products). IBM still exists making their POWER (PowerPC) line workstations, servers and embedded stuff like the Cell.
Interesting how this is being compared to Ma Bell (AT&T), being SBC (owner of Cingular), bought AT&T and plans to rename itself to AT&T. Would be funny if they were officially called AT&T by the time the new lawsuits started.
Maybe we'll see Xerox come up with a new GUI pretty soon too...
