  1. Mine is kinda obscure on For Love of The Game · · Score: 1

    *spoiler ahead*

When Ninten's great grandmother died in "Earthbound zero", it was just so touching to see the whole Magicant to fall apart. While "Earthbound zero" (or as I rather call it, Mother) is a old NES game, it was quite rather touching. It was the only time I remember crying in any game.

A shame that Earthbound zero/Mother actually never got released in US...

  3. Mousture on carts aren't good. on Nintendo A Capella · · Score: 1

Seriously, he starts by blowing into the cartdrigde and inserts it into his GB. And well, it's been said that while it get's rid of *some* dirt, it does... create uneccessery moisture that deteriorate the cart over time. There is more safe ways to clean a cart than by blowing into it. And oh, the mentioning about the music being Japanse gave me a chuckle. And the SMB theme is probably one of the most known Video games themes ever.

  4. Re:This kinda irritates me... on Xbox360 Name Confirmed · · Score: 1

Well, Nintendo dosen't name their next Gamecube Gamecube 2. Althought they did keep with the Gameboy on each portable system they released, until they released the DS. But they didn't increase a number. And Xbox 360 does sound alot better than Xbox2. Besides it's going to be anything with an X in, especially when X-box is using Direct-X technology.

  5. I'm not a fanboy but... on Xbox360 Name Confirmed · · Score: 1

Bits dosen't matter that much really... 360 bits means nothing. Wasn't the Ps2 2 bit? Yet it creamed the N64 console in terms of perfomance! I can't wait for Sony's 3 bit console.

  6. Similiarties to Simearth and other games on Preview of New Games at E3 2005 · · Score: 1

Heh, it's quite apparent he took some ideas out of his past games. Sucha as Simearth, where the evolution went from bacterial stage to the stone age into the modern world and then into the exodus.

Not saying it's a bad idea, Simearth was a good idea but it was hard to understand for most people. This game is probably alot more easier to grasp.

And I really don't mind the idea of severeal types of gameplay in one game. My favorite games are hybrids after all. I just hope it's smooth between thoose games.

  7. Re:Wireless controller? on 3 Million in Xbox 2 Sales At Christmas? · · Score: 1

It depends on what type of Wireless controllers. Obviously Radio based ones are better than IR based ones. Wireless do work when done properly, wavebird for Nintendo Gamecube is a such controller. Heh, maybe all of the next three decided to have Wireless. While I hate wires, I don't feel exactly like to buy/charge batteries now and then, especially if it's severeal controllers. And if it dies during a multiplayer fragfest, but then you can make it warn about the battery level somehow.

Of course, I loved this shows as kid. Becuse it had my favorite charachter, thought you realise how bad they are when youre older... and now you're used with having Charles Martinet as the offical Mario voice.

Do the Mario song is still a classic, becuse it's bad in a funny way.

  12. Re:Mr Coppola can just Deal with it, fans will dec on Coppola Slams Godfather Game · · Score: 0

Judging past history, this game will sell moderatly as best. With a few expections (such as Goldeneye for the N64) games based on movies are seldom that much of an success.

If the Gameplay sucks, not even the franchise makes it sell. If it's moderatly good, it's easy money obviously.

"Franchise" games usually have nice graphics but not that great gameplay, I blame on the amount of money involved... And if the ingame story is badly done and is ungodfatherlike, then the fans surely get's furious too.

Antipiratbyrån had bad press lately, and this is not making it better. Not at all. I'm not saying that stuff should be free on the net as some zealots may say, but they're using teqniques that is just... wrong. Heh, I used to have Bahnof as ISP. It was my first "broadband" ISP. At first I was quite relived at how much faster than dial-up it was. Then I was plagured with alot of down-times... And the DS is around 2x of a GBA SP's size, but it's not much bigger than a orginal GBA.
