Both of which occurred when the Catholic Church had complete control, and no one could read the Bible to find out for themselves. The people in power (ie: the Pope) were at fault, not the Christians. In those days you couldn't read the Bible for yourself, you had to believe what you were told. Muslims have the opportunity to read the Quran themselves. Maybe not all, but some. I believe anyone who abuses their power should be removed. Be it Pope, Prophet, Cleric or Bishop.
Or i go to the black market, buy some guns, get my friends to do the same, and we'll go "protest" and "demonstrate", until Texas secedes. Maybe the new government will see things our way. I *know* texas would secede. Since that's where I live... I know I'm protected.

If it wasn't for the links I got off slashdot, I couldn't get my PHB's to approve my time to verify everything. Thus, an article is not a "dupe" if it is still useful. Hence, your complaints are offtopic.
You can't be convinced unless you try it. I use gentoo... probably not the best to start on for a newbie;-), however, the gentoo forums have been helpful and complete with EVERY problem I have found. I have to use windows during the day, as a sysadmin trying to convince the PHB's away from windows is like pulling good teeth... but as for 3d animation... have you ever heard of blender? If you want to know more about any of this, email me.

Do you stop going to the soup kitchen and stop the rape, waiting for the police, and helping the woman to the hospital? If you stop the rape, the single violent crime, then you agree with what Bush did, and not your own previous comment. If you continue on to the soup kitchen, then this rapist will escape justice and continue on his rampage and rape other women, this causing more harm than if you had put a stop to it in the first place.
