If only the RIAA could organize a mud wrestling contest: Me Vs. Jessica Simpson....
I mean, how else can she punish me for all of that alleged downloading?
It is simple. The movies do seem to suck more in recent years, but it is also due to netowrk television actually being worth watching now, too! Not to mention Tivo and all its spawns. I'd prefer to watch a cool show I would have otherwise missed at home as opposed to going to watch a lame cowboy movie any day!
So, we tag them with the GPS golf ball.... then call of the pursuit so they slow down and the maniacs don't kill anybody... And then we watch them on a GPS map.... sounds great...
But what happens when they get out of the car and run or switch cars?
Now if Ford could quit putting those pesky "air bags" in their cars then maybe they won't go bankrupt! Now I heard Kraft foods was laying some folks off.... wonder what corner they could cut to get those people back to work!?
With staffers replying to all in slandering emails last year and now this, wiki can just block the IPs and disaster averted! Everyone knows that staffers are not smart enough to just log in from home:)
I was going to post something.... but I'm waiting to sell what I was going to say to one of you guys... any takers?
come on...
Better depending on how you see it...

The real questions would be:
1) Are email servers still getting more and more spam? I'd bet that they are, indeed.
2) Are we, the users, getting more and more spam with the implementation of better filtering? My answer to that is no and I still like to use Yahoo. I even use my email address for alot of risky things online and still have managed to train the SPAM filtering on Yahoo to a great degree.
So what do they mean when they say it is getting better? Less spam is ultimately getting to inboxes or less spam is being sent in the first place?
I've had same day delivery from the two local companies we use here. The customer service is bar-none the best! I swear those guys would ride it up here on a bicycle if they had to. Besides, it is always a good feeling when you pay a local business for the same products you could get elsewhere. And with the money you save in shipping, it is comparable.
And yes, even high end server components can be bought locally. Check into it.
The aggravation of switching schools is far too great. Many of your credits may not transfer and, as experience tells me, the relationships you have built with your professors thus far will work wonders in the senior year and beyond when it comes to those pesky deadlines and loads of work!
A few years back, I recall a computer science professor explaining to the class an incident in the first gulf war. Apparently, there was a bug in the trajectory software that continuously rounded out long numbers. Over time (a few days), it would be far enough off to send a missle (patriot missles maybe? not sure) off target. In a few cases, he said, it hit the wrong place and killed people.
I was surprised not to see that on the list. Was he making it up, maybe, to prove an ethical point to the class or does anyone out there know of this or a similiar incident?
Aww come on, guys. All the companies that rip the gov't on software keep that code and re-use it... so that's going back into the public sector right? well, you know.. via the private sector first.
On that same note, here's a leaked bit of code I got from my insider known only as "Shallow Nasal Cavities" Bush's Infinite Loop Policy
Sub main() WhereWeStarted: if SomeOneAsksAQuestion = True then Call CheneyAndSideStep goto WhereWeStarted end if End Sub
So you mean on a bad day when even one of those spaceships like in Independence Day or War of the Worlds comes through my line of sight... it will still be better than Comcast in Nashville?:)
HA! Kills me when I hear of that movie, lmao. Remember the scene of mariah with the geeky hat on with the bill flipped up in the front. I think I remember Conan O'Brien playing that little 3 second clip of that over and over and over... hilarity!

Since when has "the world" ever been concerned about "privacy"....
we will adopt those un-private devices and techniques in swarms!

I thought Slashdot had a trillion story submissions each day.... and I just had to watch that crap?
Hey but this space junk comes back to earth a few days later in a huge fiery show! So I guess you could say its space junk, but very short lived.
I hope it comes near my town... Been a little cold lately.

I guess it may work fine until my wife gets mad at the camera
for not telling her how "pretty she looked today" then breaks it, too!
Do you think he "learnt" his lesson? i'll bet 11.2 dollars that he does it again in 3 years!
Abolish everything?
Then we'll only have the "Betterment Of Mankind" instead of dollars to motivate anyone to develope ideas, products, etc.
"Do you want fries with that, sir?"
"HECK NO! The fries cost 300 BOM's"

The blonde in the cubicle next to mine has a knoppix CD. She thinks I'm cool now and even said 3 words to me last month :D
