I've never understood how people can actually ESTIMATE AVERAGES.
When they say "average of 2 to 4 days" i mean... well, what is it? 2, 3, 4 days? 3.2. what? ya know?
Just my two cents on the whole deal. Websense is very sketchy to say the least anyway 8)
Wes Craven Hired By NASA To Reinvigorate Their Program
In an apparent effort to win over their "Fellow Americans," NASA hired Hollywood dream killer Wes Craven to create sound bites to scare the raggity ends off of every internet surfers' eyelashes.
"Not to be outdone by 'those other soundbites' in recent days::cough cough::", says Craven, "we are now in the process of creating the world's scariest underwater sounds featuring blue whales drinking scotch near the Falkland Islands and the soon-to-be (hopefully/. hit!) 'Saturn II - The sound really does BITE' "
As with all of this there will come a day when the benefits GREATLY outweigh the costs and we will simply become accustomed to having wiress internet all around us at all times. Just give it time:)
HAHA!! I'm loving this one guys...
Maybe the robot was just trying to warn them of some impending danger, right?
"DANGER! DANGER WILL ROBINSON!"
Not very scientific if you ask me...

Simply put:
Don't REAL studies involve HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of samples? I mean when you tell me that 6 people did this and 13 people did that, I would immediately ask if it was raining outside or if something happened in the news that day, etc. Some of those people could have just been in a good mood due to sunny weather thus their influence is elsewhere:)
Give me tests with many, many test subjects. Then tell me that 3,000 of them did this when 65,000 of them did that. Then you'll have this magic potion that we have been trying to create for thousands of years to get women into bed. Put me on the mailing list for updates to that one!
It seems to me that the lack of interest in all sorts of trade shows in recent years could possibly be attributed to the flood of too many so-so ideas that don't stick around for very long. Perhaps that's a little off topic, but the fact is that these shows are sadly so few and far between. My buddies and I are talking about driving to Cleveland. 8)
Couldn't this issue be solved programmatically? It could be calibrated then adjust to the movement of the hands. Seems logical to me. With the right algorithm, you could write a program that would correct the mouse coordinates every 1/10 second or so. Why would anyone need a 100 dollar (or less) stand-alone device when they could have a small freeware program? Just a thought.:)
They cannot tax internet transactions. If they change the law (in any state), then they could, of course, enforce new laws and force online retailers to start charging taxes for people in those states. This would and has met great criticism so far, but it WILL evntually happen. Just you wait;-)
Man.. what the heck is all this about? That has to be the most confusing/. main page story I have ever read. I read it 13 times trying to figure out what the first sentence meant. LoL:)
Bush simply wants one more second added to his term. That's all!
(ok ok ok, sorry!)
Just kidding.... i'm not "that guy" :)

I can get a job now!
Talk about old programs that people didn't realize are not going to work. This could get ugly. But still, I like the pros of it also.

I'm telling ya. That was "Deep Throat." It's all about selling the new book! 8)
I'm just laughing my butt off because those were three of the things I was looking at. Hit that one right on the money, haha!
That's a little close, right? (Cosmically speaking, of course)
Make your own! Terrorists do it all the time! GPS, Cell phone calls... seems easy enough.

one more notch to that even!
A keyboard you wire to your head that determines a 1 or 0 by which signal it reads! AWESOME!
Hey, I saw where that disabled gentleman could move the mouse with using his brain waves so why not this?
ROCK!
Now THAT was pretty damn funny! :)
