He's not talking about the consistency of the system, he's talking about the consistency of the usage of the system. Better to pick one and stick with it.
Wrong: Some 'Next-Gen' DVDs May Not Work With Vista
Right: Some PCs May Not Play 'Next-Gen' DVDs
The problem is on the hardware side, you need an HDCP capable video card and monitor, and this has been known for a long time.
I certainly don't, I never even read a book before trying anything out. I've always found it much easier to learn by doing. If I don't know something or have a problem, I google it and find an online reference. A lot of people go the book route though, most of the people where I work for example. No surprise that they often come to me for help.
The "Internet" and "E-Mail" shortcuts just point to the default application, so these people that would just click on "Internet" will use Firefox or Opera or whatever you set their default to.
From TFA: "The extremely useful Nightly Tester Tools extension has an excellent little feature that enables users to circumvent the version checks typically performed during extension installation."
It's a great extension that any nightly user could never live without. I've already got a few other people to user it that were hesitant about upgrading to 2.0.
Is your consciousness part of that physical pattern though? If I teleported myself, would my consciousness teleport with my pattern? Or would I cease to be and a new consciousness with all my memories take over the assembled body at the other end? Then of course there is the religious question of your soul, but I'm not touching that.
It will likely retain all memories and everything, the person that is assembled on the other side would believe that it really teleported, but is it truly the same consciousness? The problem is, there is no way to ever know for sure.
Seriously, this happened to me about 1 1/2 years ago. Turned on my PC, heard a pop, saw an orange glow inside my case and I freaked out. Looking at his pics, it looks exactly like what happened to mine.
What is great about 2160p is that it allows for perfect upscaling of 720p and 1080p content.

"the wrist strap broke and caused the remote to leave the user's hand"
No, the remote left the user's hand and caused the wrist strap to break.
Under normal usage, this should never be a problem. The strap itself is not defective, the users are.
"Samsung ... expects PRAM-enabled devices to be available in 2008"
So why do we need to know about it for 2007?
as using bratwurst and beer, and I speak from experience.
Is that why I didn't get my pony and plastic rocket?

There's always room for jello.
Of course you can't see a black hole, but you can observe the effects of it.

Already did that, turned out it was an upside-down cow fetus. "Oh my god, it's grotesque! Oh, and there's something in a jar."
He'd probably thrust ILM into the project instead of Zoic, which would be a horrible move.
Well isn't that great, we're creating robots with the desire to wake ancient evil creatures. This really ruined my day.

are you looking at the computer for?
No top 5 list should be without Super Metroid.
XP runs hotter than OSX because OSX underclocks the GPU, so why is it a surprise that Vista also runs hotter?
Not from my Xbox 360.

Crippled operating system or crippled video playback. Either way, everyone loses.
