You could claim that films make up a lot of revenue elsewhere, such as box office takings, rentals, TV rights. Still, I think your point stands to a certain extent
It was scary in places but ultimately it was let down by some shoddy level design.
By half way through I could successfully predict the spawn points, which took the whole shock out of it.
Mind you there's a bit with an elevator and a giant monster which completely caught me off guard
I understand where you are coming from, but you have to admit it's a fantasy game. It has license to do things like that.
More serious female characters will (should) come with more serious games. Off top of my head, Rosa from Condemned strikes me as a non-typical and interesting female character
Indeed, I understand your point, I was suggesting the decision to release a film on a particular format is motivated more by politics than anything.
I'm sure Universal would easily make their money back on licencing.
Different situation entirely.
There is no technical reason for a film on Blu-ray not to be on HD DVD.
Where as consoles have completely different architectures and technical differences.
I'm sorry but that analogy is just stupid.
Microsoft had far more experience with gaming than Sony ever did when they started out.
Microsoft had developed their own gaming API, made their own peripherals and had vast experience with the platform the XBox was based on (namely a PC).
Sony on the other hand made an unfinished CD drive for the SNES.
People don't question Sony's decision to enter the video game market do they?
I knew this would happen, and people were all happy about downloadable content for Guitar Hero!
There are no bargains nor reasonable prices on the XBox Marketplace, its just the way it is. With these, you could buy the actual song for cheaper than that. Can we blame Red Octane, possibly, but with the recent Gears incident I don't think Microsoft are at all innocent in this
I remember hearing that it was supposed to have two, one of which was for graphics. But then they released it wouldn't work very well so they brought nVidea in to bail them out
I really think the bubble will burst on these virtual worlds. They cost a fortune to make and run and to top it all only a few will actually succeed. People will go where other people go and you'll end up with a myspace equivalent
Hopefully he's actually working on these games, rather than what he did with Invisible War where he just let Harvey Smith do what he wanted. In fact, he even encouraged Smith to do crazy things with it
SPOILERish
Wasn't this the case in KOTOR as well though, it's several hours into the game before you get Jedi powers etc.

I'm going to buy a big TV for the box
Best Analogy Ever! Bonus points for not using cars as a metaphor

Well it is 243 more sales than in Russia...

I am both shocked and awed!

What's the name for these people? Ninja pervs?
Erm, let me think... IRAQ!

I know you was joking but Gears of War 2! :P

Woah woah woah, that's how much the UK markup is!? Seems like we're the ones getting the tenticles. In the arse
We'll just got more ice from Halley's comet, thus solving the problem once and for all
He doesn't like the intergrated graphics chips that Intel do. Says they are holding back the industry.
