    And media bought it.
    As if Volkswagen did not know their options. They already sell electric cars too, but it is not a mass market. Guess they don't have the Apple-like image of Tesla that allows them to sell lots of overly expensive cars.

    A factor of 5 is not close to infinity. At 38cal per 100g it is close to carrots( 41cal per 100g) and other vegetables.

    In Germany we have a paragraph about tools for copyright infringement and one for password stealing tools. Also having paragraphs for spying on data, deleting data and sabotaging computers. I think we really have nothing that fits.

    With "protected computer" meaning the servers of Blizzard? Could work, though this case was in Germany afaik and should not fall under US law.

    Really? Is there any law against bots, can Blizzard do anything?
    They can ban players if they put it in the Eula, but I don't see how they can do anything against the programmers.

    Heh I really didn't know what you meant. I am not American.
    Look on wikipedia, there is a long and not even complete list of meanings for WIC.
    Besides changing course of NASA is just wasting money, it does not gain money for other projects. And the NASA budget is just 17.5 Billion. It is irrelevant for other state projects. WIC budget is 4.7 Trillion (that's what I just found).

    What do you mean by WIC? Wideband Imaging Camera is the only NASA related meaning I found, but that shouldn't cost more than a few millions. Though I agree that they should have kept many of the small projects that were cancelled to put money in the big one. Which was kind of cancelled too and turned into something else.

    It was under both Bush and Obama that politics changed things a lot. Politics should just mostly stay out of this.

    The course changes by the politics stopped so many good projects, and made it impossible to get anything big done. Just let them finish something. Space projects need time, more than a presidency term.

    Yes preventing the mass usage of end to end encryption would be the conclusion.
    Though he has a point. Reducing encrypted communication makes it harder for them to hide. With everyone using encryption it becomes impossible to track them down. If only a few end users use it there is a chance to find them through the metadata.
    Not making encryption a standard implementation means that you and me can still use it, but authorities could find out that you and me exchanged encrypted communication.

    Yes. For most (or all?) open access you pay when you want to get something published. Just paid over £1000 for one article, so I guess this is not cheap either.

    Ok this surely differs between countries. We still have competition between different taxi companies in UK and Germany, so I think this does not happen too often. Where you from?

    You just call the taxi company the day before and they will be there. If you tried to book it right at 5am you could hit scarcity.

    You can't just go into countries and ignore their rules with your service. Especially ignoring the safety rules does not make you friends, and that taxi cartel story is also only true in half of the countries.

    You did not get it. To get through the American test you just need to burn more fuel for the same emission.
    In test mode the diesel proably runs at a lower temperature, which reduces NOx, but also reduces efficiency.
