My thoughts exactly , Ok i may look really daft if it turns out these kids have a pile of semtex in their basements , but i dobut that will hapen. Its a witch hunt , you know "the earth revolves around the sun" used to be an extremist view point that would get you tared and featherd , not that im saying whatever these kids said was right( as frankly i have no idea as they have been gaged) but i can only assume witch hunt as there is no other evidence out
I have been effected by terrorism in my life , i lost a close freind in the Lockerbie bombings Yet i do not see it fit to shut down any anti gouvermental website just for some mesure of security . I value my freedom and unexplained actions for some supposed security check scare me
If all you say is true about the product(discounting a shape thign as i can imagine , difrent folks blah) then this is horrifc behaviour by the company. Releasing an inferior sequal is bad enough in the entertainment world , in the hardware world though its down right lunacy. a new version of a piece of hardware is expected to improve it in a few key areas or perhaps in one drasticaly with a slight loss in another(such as doubling the battery life on an mp3 player but reducing the capacity by 10%). having something with a significantly lesser battery life and no notable advantages is a confusing at best unless they decided to sell it for a significantly lesser sum
The machine is great , small, compact , silent , powerfull , has a unix with full driver support for all included components,Excelent development tools and a price that is unmatched in the area. I use my mini as a general purpose slim line as well as a digital hub. Whilst i read through this , i cant help myself saying "Exactly" out loud , Apple has one hell of a commodity/general purpose computer on its hand in the mini. seriously how many other mainstream computers can equaly compete in the Digital hub and embeded development market, OS X allows me the power of a unix system which I use daily and allows the system to be so easy that an adult with no experiance ( children pick GUI navigation up too easily to be worth mentioning) could use it quickly. Bravo apple , this machine made me break out the wallet the minute it was announced,Ive used apple computers for a long time but never have i found an apple that was this versatile .

Well actualy i will say more;) first , i have played a couple of MMORPGS and stoped shortly after for one simple reason , Some people take these games way way way too seriously . I mean this is a scary extreme example , i do know someone who got alot of hatemail due to acidently killing another guys horse in Ultima online ( i mean thousands of mails , he eventualy had to report it and have the guy cut off). Yes it is , However fair use in my country , and the country i live allows me to give a copy to a mate , hwoever i would not distribute it over the net that is wrong but its another issue compared to profiting off of it and claiming you did it. However if they claim it as their own work i would get rather peeved as I put alot of hours into my creations .

Time and Time again The pearPC team has shown evidence of the inclusion of their GPL licensed code in the code of CherryOS , What has CherryOS done,,Well they have stuck two middle fingers up and said "prove it". The reason we use the GPL for our(as in gpl users, im not on the pearpc team) code is that we strongly belive in the principles of copyleft , keeping the code free. I can't 100% say that the PearPC team are right on this , though all the evidence i have seen has supported my belife that they are. The GPL needs legal victorys , and it needs the defense of its spirit to remain valid. I shall donate my 10 as soon as i can as i understand how agrevating it can be to have others claim your hard work as their own.

As an OldSkool((TM)) unix admin , since when is any mouse at-all hardocre , I would say one is far more advanced than two etc;) , i know you or the grandparent(but perhaps the grandparent is) are not trolling one mouse button specificaly though i couldnt resist. There was a time when any GUI was considerd N00bish;) , must say though the Mac GUI aqua is the best qui i have had the plesure of using , i use it for most things outside shell

They simplified many of the concepts in the design , to finaly produce a much sleaker robot with a greater performance.The simple idea of having onboard power and a lighter tether was a great advantage which threw the game in their favour. The design seems wonderuflly direct and simple , a good example of occam's razor in the eveloution of robots "dont add more than you need PS:"i apoligise if i missed something TFA is loading at a snails pace for me

Ive been following MTA(multi theft auto ) for a couple of years now (im sure its been that long) and played the various versions along the way. I have to say that this is one of the best mod projects going,IT adds a feature that was sorely missing fromt he origional game , Many many hours have been spent with my mates having a few Buds(Budiwar chezch beer,not budweiser) playing turn about,The moment i lernt about MTA i was enthralled , i even installed windows on one of my machines to test it out , Honestly its a great deal of fun. I have yet to look too deeply into it , but i would like to test it out on linux X86 and see how the network code fares with wine or cedega. MY point being has anyone tried to get this running under linux in some form , if so how (Was it just install and play).
Sitting with a couple of those books on my desk , i now realise where i got the inspiration for that joke.I knew i should have said OS XI " Lesser spoted african swallow"
Its far more than a point release . The fact it adds many new features to the OS it is far more of an upgrade than most. The new search tech is fully integrated. The new G5 optimised code in the kernel is implemented iirc The Dashboard looks very cool;) A reworking of many of the key areas of the functionality of the OS Read the article and read any review of the tiger betas out there to find out for yourself why this is more than a mere update.
