Ok when i first read this , i had images of a bunch of guys in orange suits bursting into peoples houses and Instaling firefox and anti spyware software on windows machines, then just before diving out the window shouting "All in a days work Ma'am"

After reading the story though , i must say "About fragleing time " .
As the submitter mention razor ,which has been around for a good while i have been amazed how many ISPs are actualy doing very little about it , I have my theorys why some do so little (pay per bandwidth is becoming rather popular these days) though most are not like this.
The sooner ISPs take a proactive(shudder jargon word) stand against offenders and start to disalow the traffic or manage problems (im aware many people are victums , but this gives them an alert that they have an infected PC ), the sooner we can start to enjoy our times online without fear of Spam or fear that our servers will be DDoS'ed into the ground.,

I disagree on GTA3 , i found it a great game . most of the time i was not playing it violently i was enjoying messing around with the physics doing stunts , or trying not to kill people (quite a challange). The story is funny and the radio stations are hillarious , the plot is not a great work of art though , GTA3 is juvinile mindless fun at times , thats why i love it , pure stress relife (same can be said for Diablo /2). ;) suppose though when i was 13 i did not need my mum to get me games , i had freinds with older brothers , kids who are not ready for it are more likely to be getting the games fromt he parents so it kind of balances out the universe.

When i was younger I loved games like SFII or a little gem of a game called DOOM which was just as violent .Most of the kids in my school were playing these games , and you know what most of the kids now are playing games like GTA3 and having a great time .This was many years ago and things have not change , most of my school freinds are not a bunch of psychotic killing machine or über criminals .
Seriously , when i was in my pre/early teens some things i remember clearly , Violent games and films were great fun, Sex scenes and nudity in movies ruled and we never cared about film ratings .
We would whatch splatter zombie movies , horrers and other assorted 18 rating movies(perhaps thats 17 or 21 in the USA ,18 is the max rating in the UK)
The only film to realy upset me was a U(universal) , a movie of a book called "Watership down" I had a pet rabbit at the time and the psychotic tribal bunnies in that film really gave me a fright.
But my point being , 12 -15 year olds love smut , violent games and swearing ,This is natural , it has always been this way and always will

I have been a nintendo fan since the early 80s ( and several other consoles too and computers hell im just a techno fanboi though I do hate that word) and can tell you hoenstly the thing that killed off the Virtual-Boy was the fact that using it for longer than a few minutes caused massive migranes to alot of people , IIRC it was because the lenses were misaligned slighty (perhaps it was the refresh rate or both).
Inovation has always been a good thing for nintendo , specificaly in the control front , to my mind the N64 controler was one of the best controlers ever devised for 3D games (lacking in 2d though) , and not to mention the SNES or NES pads which were amazing at the time(the snes pad can still hold its own for 2d).
The problem nintendo has is the fact that alot of people wish to Apear ""COOL"" and nintendo is yet to shake off its For-Children image .
This is the only thing limiting nintendo , However as a long term fan i would hate to see nintendo depart from this style , there is a kind of inocent charm in the games that gives them a timeless feel , not to mention amazing gameplay , Sometimes i love ripping the heads off of people , or gunning down the inocent citizens of liberty city , other times though i just want to relax and enjoy a game with a type of magic and wonder akin to the works of the brothers Grim.

The Reveloution will need two things if is to become a market leader,
A Kudos factor with some maturity and A lot of grade A Games . Most importantly is the games , remembering the Gamecube launch , i remember being disapointed with the lack of options(some classic titles though like pikimin) and variety .Nintendo Will learn from there mistakes and i suspect the Reveloution will be both inovative , Cool , and have a menagre of titles at launch

How the hell did this man get a law degree , Seriously it may have something to do with D&D , though the evidence is um ,well,, if that is all they have to link it to D&D, then may i sugest the motive could have been related to pumping up a football , as that has lots of thrusting motions involved if you use a hand pump.

On a more serious note , The man obviously has some serious psychological issues of which i have no doubt contributed to these murders , the only reason the D&D link should be brought up is in establishing motive if you want to have the man released to the care of a mental health ward .

Games do not turn people into psychotic killing machines , they may however shape the style but if it was not the game it would have been some other influence .Jack the ripper was never known to play counter strike ,Charlie manson Never played Mortal kombat.
