Yes because we would be totally screwed without this remake of this game that was first on the SNES and then on the PSX and also via emulation for those into that sort of thing.
At first I thought Ebert was branching out into video game reviews since/. listed this under "Games". However, the reviewer I rarely agree with anyway doesn't seem to like the movie Silent Hill. Surprise surprise. He's older than my dad. Then again I wouldn't want some G4TV like kiddies reviewing movies for me either (because their game reviews are pitiful and the powers that be think the tv people all have to look so... well you know if you ever watch that channel).
The "since a kid" bit was hyperbole. However, it does seem like an incredibly long time. Even if Red Alert and non Red Alert are the same universe, I still prefer dealing with the Soviets and their kind.
I've been waiting since I was a little kid for a sequel to Red Alert 2. The C&C universe was always boring to me. The Red Alert universe was always exciting and the games themselves were always better. Stick with the Red Alert series. You guys already put out a C&C sequel since the last Red Alert sequel.
I've never purchased a standalone DVD player. I have always and still watch DVDs on my PS2. For one, I don't have space in my TV cabinet to stick another device. Two, my TV isn't great enough to where a more expensive standalone player would make a hill of beans. I'd rather play DVDs on my PS2 than some $20 DVD player from Wal-Mart.
Ebert.com takes you to Ebert & Associates which provides expert legal testimony, scientific exhibits, research and consulting using spatial and photographic evidence in the areas of environmental litigation, land and water rights disputes, criminal forensics, and the management of cultural resources. (Yes I simply copied that from the website)

Are you saying that you are the last generation in existence? Just because your generation is getting too busy with school doesn't mean there isn't another younger generation ready to take its place.
All I can say is thank you to the guy for making a federal case out of it (not quite literally) because I had never heard about this video heretofore. Inquiring minds want to know... where can you download this video?

That is really cool. Too bad it's been 9 months since their last update. I wonder if they still have time to work on it.

I'd just be happy if they'd release a Colonization with complete WindowsXP compatibility and updated graphics. Just make it a jewel case only game and sell it on the cheap.

I'm guesing that Sweden is one of the best places in the world when it comes to so-called "illegal sharing".
You even met one in high school, as if they're so rare? I don't know how things are in Germany, Hauptmann, but there are millions upon millions of Americans who believe in intelligent design.

"Software houses say that architecturally the system is very similar to the GameCube but roughly twice as powerful. One source elaborates, "At first, we were discouraged that it would be less powerful than Xbox 360, but once we got everything working with the controller, our concerns faded"."
From the article summary:
"Companies in the US and UK may order an additional 15 new reactors. Physics Today magazine has a global roundup of the new plants on construction, and how the builders are getting around some of the potential road blocks in their path. I'm sure many slashdot readers would be surprised to know that some new plants will be coming online so soon."
What is the point in forcing students to buy laptops? I can see that if the school is going to close their computer labs it might be somewhat reasonable to force the purchasing of a computer (though a few years ago when I was in college a lot of people used their roommates). Frankly, I don't see the need to use a laptop. Teachers either give handouts of their powerpoint presentations and it tends to be easier to write than type notes (tho not always). I wouldn't want to have to input my organic chemistry or calculus notes into a computer. It's way easier to write them in a notebook.
My girlfriend was driving her parent's brand new toyota minivan that has a built-in navigation system while I was in the front passenger seat and the darn thing won't let you input anything unless the car is at a complete stop. Of course, I, being the idiot, must have spent 5 minutes trying to get the darn thing to work. Couldn't figure out why all the relevant buttons were greyed out. Then we came to a stop and voila, the buttons weren't greyed out anymore.

Yes, now Big Brother can keep me from getting fired for checking out the sports scores while my patient dies.
I've seen many people in college roll around their textbooks in a backpack with wheels. You might try it.
Robert Frost (though you're dead), watch out. This guy knows how to rhyme.

According to wikipedia, Sony owns some of the mpeg2 patents.

Forget about IBM. What about the poor people at ITT Technical Institute who think they are building for the future?

That's because the Eastern European countries make the malware.
Which blue ray technology do you refer to? Toshiba's HD-DVD or Sony's Blu-Ray?
