There's a difference between exploit safety and phishing safety. If the user gets tricked into running malicious software, it doesn't matter what OS they run.

What we really need to fix this problem is much more fine grained control of security. Do I want every app I run on my windows or linux boxes to have read/write access to my home directory, or the network? No fricken way. I want control over everything an application does on my system.

Yeah, I just remembered looking at photos before the collapse of the building facade and wondering why damage from the engines hitting the building wasn't apparent. Now looking at it again, the right engine probably entered the same hole as the fuselage, and the left engine created its own hole closer to the ground.

The only thing that really bothers me are the inconsistencies of the pentagon attack. The initial reports of what crashed there called it a military helicopter, not a passenger jumbo jet. I don't see how there could be any confusion whatsoever between the two. Even the security footage looks like a very small aircraft (and quite blurry, unfortunately.) The photographs of the pentagon shortly after impact and during the ensuing fire look more like a small commercial jet or fighter jet even would have caused that damage. What really happened there?

Man, I feel sorry for you guys. It really is worth it to learn how to insert and remove them quickly. What if you get dust in your eyes?

The way I do it is by looking downward at about a 45 degree angle, using one hand (left hand for left eye, right for right) open my eye really wide and move the lens straight towards it on my index finger. I have soft lenses which trap air underneath initially, so I use my index finger to move it around until the bubbles escape. I guess some people can't stand to actually touch their eyeball, but I'm so used to it that I don't even have the urge to blink anymore. Takes no time at all, and the less touching of the lens you do the less chance of getting dust or dirt on it and having to try again.
