    actually, relativity does apply to any measured time interval, qm or otherwise, and to any resonant frequency measurement (example: red shift). but that doesn't really come into play for measuring a resonant frequency of the moving atoms of a gas, cooling the gas just means less noise in measurements. So I was just being a wise-ass.

    Einstein didn't like the probability instead certainty aspects of qm.

Elimination of criminals is a good solution for lowering crime rate. Prison with no parole. Death sentence for rape and murder. Illegally immigrate and join a criminal gang, get classified as invading enemy combatant/terrorist and put to death.

    that's a fallacy, for the most part people willing to commit crime will do so regardless of income or need, no respect for other people or property. Average income is still going down but crime decreasing in past few years, how do you explain that? I'll explain it for you, in past 50 years higher percentage of evil people in population, due not to income but to less family structure.

My comments are based on being a paying customer and systems admin of microsoft products for over 25 years, when *I* say something of there's is crap it means something.     Microsoft is winning, because Vista will do this and that? I don't know anyone who is using Microsoft based home entertainment, and I don't know anyone who is using Vista for any serious purpose (just fellow geeks playing with it and finding it's a load of bloated buggy crap). In fact, we might say Microsoft has just ensured they lost the home battle.

    someone who cares about all that can do the research from the web and walk into a store with a list (even including avoiding those cards with same model number for multiple possible chipsets inside). Or do business with a linux friendly vendor online.
