    Chicago does not sit on half the cross-continental backbone and most internet traffic services only have one router listing for the Chicago area. St. Louis sits on more bandwidth than Chicago.

    I've seen this as well, loading pages like Digg or Youtube in tabs will cause the browser to hang, and other pages won't load until the first tabs load up. It's really annoying when I tend to middle-click multiple links at once.

    The original purpose of the Olympics, in my best guess, was to show the known world at that time who was superior.

    Nowdays, it's all about cash. Shoot the CEO of every company involved with the Olympics, and I'll guarantee you that won't happen ever again, as nobody would willingly touch the olympics with a 50 foot pole.

    Get the RF-mod. It enhances the overall play, better tapping algorithms, and the joystick support is far better. I can actually do most GH songs on expert on the keyboard now without any major screwups.

    I've read the link, the fucking patent, and the whole damned article, and as I look around everywhere I see prior art. Hey, the exact same thing is used in musical keyboards, WITH A CLICK AT THE END. Oh, hey, The original Playstation controller did the exact same thing, STILL DOES. Why isn't this patent troll suing Sony?

    Do you even know what a solenoid is? It's an analog sensor that clicks at it's extent. My Zizzle pinball table is a perfect example of this.

    To add to that, the Sega Genesis controller buttons click as well when you press them, so do the a and b buttons on an old NES controller.

    This sort of tactile feedback is NOT new, and hasn't been since ARCADE GAMES or even PINBALL.

    The SNES buttons do indeed click. I'm holding my controller right now and pressing the buttons. They have a tactile "click" you can feel. Take it apart and you'll find the membrane switch making that soft tactile 'click'

    My post still stands. It's the tactile feedback you get after pressing the button in all the way, AKA a 'click.'

    Everytime someone thinks connecting defense-critical *ANYTHING* to the internet is a good idea, I want to shoot them in the face with acid. Did you people so easily forget the guy who took only a week to penetrate into a nuclear reactor and control it FROM THE OUTSIDE?

    I find it interesting they're worried about what they own. After all, doesn't their religion state that their material possessions have no value in heaven? Why sue over the spreading of their religion, since that's part of the religion (spread the word) as well? Something doesn't seem right. It's either them being hypocrites, or /. just got trolled into reading the Mormon books.

    Plug and play, BTW, has nothing to do with a pre-made OS install for the purposes of either system recovery or mass imaging of a new product line. You're thinking about installing an OS on a CLEAN SYSTEM from scratch.
