  1. blind handshake system on Bot Nets Behind Recent Spam Surge · · Score: 1

How about implementing a system where each party has to authorize each other for emails to be sent. Let's say you wanted to email a message to your friend Bill. You have Bills email and he has yours. To establish a connection between both of you, you have to send out a request to Bill first. Thing is, Bill won't ever see your request (this is to prevent both parties from being spammed by requests). Now Bill knows you and wants to email you also, he also knows you probably already sent a request, so he sends out a request to you. At this point when both requests are sent, a link can be established and both persons are notified of this.

This could be doable by each mail server and seems like good way to eliminate spam.

So will Nintendo be releasing updated dev kits for their older consoles? I see a lot of potential in this. Especially if Nintendo steps in and helps with the online distribution of these games.

You might want to add support to your card manually by editing the nv4_disp.inf file (check your setup folder), before you install the latest drivers.

You can get a preformatted inf file here.

If you want to do it yourself, in windows go into device manager and view the properties of your video card. Then go into the details tab and select hardware ids in the dropdown list. You can then use the last value displayed and add it among the other hardware id's in the nv4_disp.inf file. For most unrecognized cards, this requires adding two lines of text to the file.

So Grand Theft Auto, with its references to drugs, sex, and murder is a big OK in your book. Drugs and violent crime kill more people, why are you worried about bullying? Actually, why the hell are your kids playing mature games in the first place. As a "parent", maybe you should put some more control in what games your kids are playing. As an adult, I admire the concept of this game, and I haven't been in a position to be affected by bullying for a very long. But I guess banning a game is always easier than being a responsible parent.

Seriously, back in 1999 when the ps2 released in Japan, didn't a standalone dvd player cost around $500 to $700? I bought a ps2 myself partly because it also played dvd movies and was cheap. You just have to do a little googling to see that Sony usually sells their game consoles at a loss.
