KB 942435:
This problem occurs because of a memory leak in the Windows OLE component. This memory leak is triggered by the way that Windows Explorer deals with the extended attributes of the files. Its only files with streams, and apparently kaspersky makes it wose by that fact that it tags every single file with a stream.
Ok, i just scared myself, i just thought i was on google *shivers*. Is there any part of there search results that isnt the same as googles? The colours, the links, the cache, the date, the adverts at the top, the adverts on the right, the youve got "14 billion results", the "it took 0.4 seconds in our amazing data center get your results for goatse".
The navigation links suck, MSN own brand.
Just downloaded and installed, looks good, but hit a bug instantly, even tho its minor its still annoying, such as the new account wizzard dosent stay in focus, such as when you go to another window and back again the main application is disabled and the new account wizzard is not visable, such i would presume they are many minor bugs throught, saying that i dont enjoy using java programs, you can spot them a mile off and they seem icky.
That's true, while it can be blocked we shouldn't have to, imagine if everyone started doing this, we couldn't go blocking an IP for every ISP. Keeping track of the IPs would be very hard.
Indeed this is corrent wegfwegwegwegweg.uk.com resolves to 213.146.149.160 and forwards to a "this domain dosent exist, buy now" page
I just hope it dosent have too much of an effect on SPAM, because any spammers can now send emails from anything@wegfwegwegwegweg.uk.com, and mailservers that check for existing domains will pass it, unlike without wildcards where that domain wont exist and the SPAM will be rejected.
As some stupid amount of all internet traffic is P2P and increasing would they not save a hell of a lot of money by providing internet to everyone in america, they would then have to pay nothing for the P2P bandwidth going outside their network, and surly would make a hell of a lot more money?
"Many of the license provisions worry open-source developers. According to an analysis done by Larry Rosen, general counsel of the Open Source Initiative, Microsoft's License would require mail service providers incorporating Sender ID into their products to tell Microsoft about customers using it. "
"The software giant also has not informed the IETF of potential patents pending on the technologies, and the license is not compatible with open-source development groups and requires users to be subject to U.S. export control laws, the analysis stated."

I believe this is because they use projectname.sourceforge.net/ to link to projects so a wildcard makes sense here.

SPF has no 'source code' therefore it can't be 'open source'.
Very true, but SPF is an open standard, Microsoft's SenderID is theirs and patented, licensed and all that crap.
The internet was built on open standards, i don't think something like SenderID will fit in.
