    99% of movies has the same schema portrayed in various backdrops & settings, you have a protagonist battling an antagonist over either a princess or a treasure, and that is what movies are, it is the same old shit over & over & over again, it never changes and people are not wanting to spend money to see the same old schema with just different costumes

    The Grapes of Wrath, i seen the movie a few times and i knew the movie is based on a book so i decided to read the book, and the book is better and there are some differences, and the book is a lot more tragic than the movie, it is a great book i recommend it

  17. they should have had a bittorrent file ready, when will people managing servers with large Linux ISOs, it is best to have several mirrors offering only bittorrent files so downloads can spread the load not only among servers but the downloaders can help to share the load too

    There are alternatives to HamRadioDeluxe, free and Open Source solutions too, Skywave Linux seems to be fairly good built on Ubuntu with all the Ham Radio Software already included, it is a live CD or you can run it from a USB memory stick (thumbdrive) or you can install it on a PC, http://skywavelinux.com/

    also most other major distros will include most of this software in their repositories so installing them in a new linux install is as simple as launching synaptic or using apt-get from the commandline if you already know the names of the app you want, synaptic has a good search feature by keywords so it makes looking for apps easier

    thats great!!! being an old school Linux user that learned how to use Linux on mostly Slackware and the older Debian with sysv i prefer non-systemD distros, i just may give this distro a spin within the next few days, and i like the new idea of portability for multi arch software since all my machines are 64 bit, and since slackware has kept its 64 bit build strictly 64 bit and getting a slackware install to go multi arch requires jumping through hoops i been leaning on non-systemd forks of debian, antiX-16 is good, same with MX-16 it is good too,, looks like Gobo is going to be taken for a spin in an extra disk partition on a thinkpad and my desktop before the end of the year, Thanks :)

  24. FOAD to the dirty crooks, break out the live USB Linux distro of gparted, wipe the drive with --sgdisk-zap-all /dev/sda then put in a new filesystem, reinstall my favorite flavor or Linux, and be glad i keep all my personal stuff on another USB thumbdrive
