can GNURadio-companion incorporate hamlib as a library to run the radio and basically use gnuradio-companion to build some simple front ends for hamlib? i have a Ten-Tec RX320 and Grig is not much as a front end, i was hoping to build a nicer front end that was more specific to this HF receiver and include a waterfall feature to get a good look at a few KCs of spectrum, i use Linux exclussively so there is not a windows PC for me to do this in, if i get good and skilled at this i would love to build a FOSS HamRadioDeluxe clone for Linux with ease of use and feature rich to include all the radios both hamlib and gnuradio will run,

it has been almost two years since slackware Slackware released a distro, thats a long time but at least Debian and Slackware can be depended on to actually make something rock solid and stable.

and Netflix was okay for a little while but eventually i lost interest because of the selections seems to never rotate to different movies, sure they add a few new ones but not a lot and after a while it got to be like HBO, just another premium channel with the same old crap after a while, so i cancelled it and just threw the roku hardware in a old shoe box saving it for my grand yard sale when i finally decide to move to a smaller house

if it is good hardware why not put a new operating system on it and make it work for a few more years, no sense in filling the landfills up just because the software became obsolete,
the computer i am typing this on was built by me in 2000, i used to dual boot a copy of windows 2000 and Linux Slackware-8 when it was new, today windows is gone and i am running Debian Jessie on it, the hardware is old but it works good so why not put a new operating system on it
hopefully some clever x-google employee or a current google employee will so do some work on the side at home and build a customized debian or slackware port that is easily installed in any android device, most are locked down so this cant happen but i bet somebody has the key to unlocking these android phones that have so far been uncrackable at the firmware/hardware level
you have a driver's license and they got a photo and Name & address on record, think of all the electronic and paper trails the system has on you, about the only place that dont have your info is facebook which dont really matter anyway
i can buy a pound of hamburger, one tomato, one onion, head of lettuce, loaf of bread, for about 20 bucks, and cook four hamburgers, and feed four people and it will taste a heck of a lot better, thats about 5 bucks each a day, a lot better than a liquid diet too
