Yo, we're normal high school kids. Get over the stereotype. We may look funny or listen to weird music, but hey, wasn't that the goths a few years back when everyone poked fun at them? We're as human as you. Don't let a few rotten apples ruin the whole bunch.

It would be impossible to count how many times I've purchased "Americanized" anime goods when I realize that the same product, minus the crappy "regionalized" box art and subtitles, are a wholeheartedly 60-80% cheaper in Japan and the rest of Asia (even more if you get a high quality Hong Kong bootleg/look-alike).

Now, if only more Japanese studios caught on to this and had decent English translators, they could stick to this HD-DVD like a bottle of superglue on an incomplete Mecha model! /me welcomes future of non-expensive-that-won't-burn-your-wallet-and-your -soul Anime goods :P

True, you can alter their sense of balance and change their direction, but to get this all to work, you have to have them keep walking all the time forward, right? Not like this technology will be put towards good use for society - I could see it being abused in many wicked and evil ways (no, seriously).

Without absolutely control over the limbs, this device is pretty much a nausea-inducing and person-'tripping' device, and I hope it stays that way (as cool as it is, but think about the pros and cons).
